The hotel was in a great location; everything was within walking distance.

Breakfast was okay, but it could be changed up a bit. It was the same thing for all three days, so I think there could be a little more variety.

The overall look very high end looking, the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable, answered all questions.

Het personeel bij de incheckbalie : de meneer had er niet zoveel zin in en vond zichzelf te goed om vriendelijk te zijn. En jammer dat we een kamer tegen de liftkoker aan hadden; dan word je toch zo’n beetje de gehele nacht uit je slaap gehouden 😵‍💫 En belachelijk dat de parkeerkosten zo achterlijk hoog waren. En dan; Het hotel heeft geen gezellige warme uitstraling en is een beetje vies/ gedateerd. Misschien dat dat de reden is dat ze het lekker donker hebben gehouden?

Stayed at Wade Hotel recently and overall really enjoyed the experience. The location is amazing - very accessible and within a short, safe walk to downtown and most of the main attractions. Everything was about a 10–15 minute walk max, which made getting around super convenient. The room itself had a stunning lake view that I absolutely loved. Looking out at it throughout the day was such a highlight - it honestly looked like a painting, especially during sunrise and sunset. The room was clean, housekeeping came daily, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with great pillows and towels.

The only thing I found a bit odd was the bathroom door setup. It’s a sliding door that doesn’t fully close, so there’s a noticeable gap you can see through. Since I was sharing the room with family, it was a little inconvenient and definitely lacking some privacy. I think this could be especially uncomfortable if you’re sharing with coworkers or someone you don’t know very well. Other than that, everything else was really solid and we genuinely enjoyed our stay.
