Days Inn by Wyndham Mt Pleasant-Charleston-Patriots Point

Don’t stay here- you might find that the price is cheap, but it’s worth more to stay downtown. Wish that I had done so originally. I booked this before our cruise and ended up leaving, forfeiting our pay for a nicer place. The rooms stunk, my teens were mortified that I had booked this place!

There was no hair dryer in the room or a coffee pot. We had no hot water at all took cold showers. The breakfast was so little we actually opted to go buy breakfast instead. Only had 2 yogurts and a couple muffins out.

It was the nightmare night in my live, the people at the front desk are rude, the rooms and floors are very dirty, the hotel floors are dirty never been washed, all the trash cans was full of trash with construction trash, smell dirty and sometimes marihuana around

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR ANY REASON. There was no coffee maker, no bedside lamp, no Kleenex in my room. The floor was dirty; there was even food on the floor. Soon after I checked in, an employee tried to get in my room without knocking. Breakfast selection was very poor. 2 out of 3 mornings they ran out of cereal and muffins. There is nowhere to sit for breakfast, so you have to take food back to your room. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Not described correctly in presentation, no ice, rooms dusty, floors made your feet black, doors to rooms had been broken into so many times they wouldn’t open or close, furniture in rooms was so worn it looked like something from a yard sale. Will never do days inn again!

I knew not to expect much for a Days Inn. Their renovations need to be renovated. Ceiling paint was flaking off, toilet leaked & parts inside tank were the wrong size. Whoever used the sprayer to paint over the shower tiles/tub forgot to take off the tub faucet (that didn't even fit properly). Tiles in the shower had cracked in several places. Room was painted gray, a depressing color imo. Only one ice machine for the whole property didn't work. Elevator was broke the 1st day, then I got stuck while I was in it, day 3. Luckily I had enough sense to keep trying the outer door & got myself out. Staff was nice but not trained on what to do with the tool marked 'Elevator'. Cigarette butts all over the place & a bit of trash that wasn't picked up. Safe didn't work, I guess they don't know you have to replace the batteries.

This place is a joke. They really should refund our money back. It smell like an old moldy motel!! Yes motel, it stinks in there. Holes in the wall, no handles on dressers, no lamps...just a pitiful place. We weren't expecting this. My husband and I slept in our clothes., even though I sprayed lysol everywhere, the smell didn't go away!! Was suppose to stay 2 nights... couldn't do it🥵 I'm going to call the home office when we get home

Rooms were awful. No staff. Everything broken. Dirty bathroom. Seemed like a crack motel. Do not stay here for any reason.

The room was clean, and they provide parking in front of the room, but that was about it. Breakfast: On the first day they had not put any food out, I had to ask for them to put food out. All they provided was some cereal and yoghurt, and of course coffee, milk, juice, and water. On the second day they had cereal, but no milk to go with it, and on the 3rd day there was neither cereal nor milk, so they actually didn't provide anything to eat but yoghurt. Shower in the room: my shower was semi-cold, and wouldn't get warm at all. Free Wi-Fi: the Wi-Fi they provided was via an open, unprotected connection. They gave me a card with a password, but I could log in without the password and got the information that sometimes a password is required and sometimes not. With the unprotected connection I had to buy a mobile hotspot to safely use the internet. Distance to Charleston of 2.9 miles: That's true, but via an interstate, so walking downtown is not an option. In my opinion this was my worst stay ever.
