Millennium Hotel Maxwell House Nashville

I had a very disappointing stay at the Millennial Maxwell Hotel. Unfortunately, the room and overall experience did not match what was advertised. First, the condition of the room itself was poor. The shower leaked badly, the lampshade was broken, and there were exposed wires behind the bed which felt unsafe. The toilet also had almost no pressure, and the television didn’t work during the entire stay. On top of the maintenance issues, the extra fees were frustrating. We were charged a daily housekeeping fee, yet the room was only cleaned once during our stay. One day my room was cleaned when I did not have the “Please Clean Room” sign out, which was unexpected. On another day, I had the “Please Clean Room” sign on the door and the room was not cleaned at all. It felt very inconsistent, especially considering we were being charged for housekeeping daily. Because the room wasn’t being serviced regularly, I also ran out of basic supplies. I had to call for more towels and additional toilet paper, and ultimately had to go down to the front desk myself to pick them up. Parking was another issue. We were required to pay for parking at the hotel even though we did not have a vehicle there. The shuttle service was also extremely limited. It only ran from 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm and only on certain days of the week, which made it difficult to rely on. The continental breakfast was also very underwhelming. There were never any hot options like eggs or meat available, so it felt pretty bare-bones compared to what most hotels offer. Additionally, the hotel advertises having a bar, but it was only open Wednesday through Sunday, which was not made clear beforehand. Overall, between the poor room condition, unexpected fees, inconsistent service, and limited amenities, this stay was frustrating and not worth the cost. I would not stay here again.

We arrived late evening. When entering the foyer we noticed the carpets were filthy with stains, upon walking to the rooms the carpets didn't get any better. Our room was dirty with worn out furniture, stains on the chair, ripped chair & fridge with dents on front. Bathroom had an old looking bathmat in the shower/bath with hairs and rust around the plug hole. It's the first hotel we have even had to check out of without staying. We found another hotel. The man on reception said he would notify the manager & didn't seen that bothered that we were leaving.

Great price and close to Broadway.

We automatically had to pay to have a shuttle service but they did not have shuttle running while we were there because it was during the week. I questioned it, but the office staff said we had to pay it anyway. We feel we got ripped off because on top of the fee they charge for the shuttle, we had to pay for an uber back and forth to Broadway.

I would not recommend this hotel. Very overpriced for what you get. Mold and missing caulk in bathrooms, dirty and worn out furniture, and dilapidated pillows. Just not a good experience especially for the money. Maybe a $75/night place. The entire hotel needs updating and remodeling.
