Viking Café Guesthouse

A mind-blowing location in South-Eastern Iceland. Modern, comfortable, clean Icelandic simplicity in the guest room. The warm, welcoming folks who run the place truly made our stay exceptional. And so much Icelandic wonder to explore here! We wish we had spent two nights, one wasn’t enough.

Room was good for the two nights we stayed. Staff was very responsive and kind. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus! Being right by Vestrahorn Mountain and getting free access to the surrounding area included in your stay is something you can’t beat!

Staff are wonderful. The hotel itself is brand spanking’ new, still smelled like new wood and our room view is literally the Vestrohorn Mountain

Cute stop over stay. Comes with access to Viking village and black sand beach that was almost empty! Otherwise, you have to pay like 2500 idk per person to enter. Nice little breakfast that comes with the stay also

My room looked and smelled brand new. It was a clean and comfortable room though on the small side. It had a nice view.

Your average accommodation in terms of room, however the staff were lovely and the complimentary breakfast was great! Not to mention the fact that you are located right under the shadow of Vestrahorn Mountain and access to the beach as well as Viking village is included with your stay! Spent two nights here and would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay here! The room was new and very comfortable. The location is great, with easy access to Stokksnes. The breakfast in the morning was also nice.

Beautiful location with very friendly staff!

We stayed here for one night on our trip around the ring road in early October. The location is fantastic! We were in one of the newly built rooms (#9) and had a view of Vestrahorn! It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We ate at the cafe and the food was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. The area is unbelievably gorgeous! I would definitely recommend!
