Hilton Brussels Grand Place

We booked this property months in advance for a concert, choosing a "pay at property" option with card authorization through Booking.com. Just 12 days before check-in, the hotel claimed our card was invalid and threatened cancellation. We provided four different working cards (two of which Booking.com had successfully charged before), but the hotel continued to say they were all invalid. When we called our banks, they explicitly confirmed that no charge or pre-authorization or charge attempts were ever made by the hotel. The property was incredibly difficult to contact, taking four hours to reach, and they repeatedly changed their story—claiming the names didn't match on the card and reservation (which was false we did provide a card where the names matched) and also not a policy, and then claiming they were "cash only." Which is again not part of the policy and it clearly states they accept card, which they obviously do if they “pre authorise” cards. The staff were extremely rude and clearly used fake card errors as an excuse to wrongfully cancel our reservation, likely because they overbooked or wanted to re-sell the room at a higher event rate. Do not trust them with advance bookings

Part of the shower door seal is damaged, causing water to leak out onto the bathroom floor.There were not enough lights in the room, so it felt quite dark at night.

The middle-aged male staff member at the front desk who was not wearing glasses when we checked in around noon on our first day was quite inefficient in handling our check-in. First, our reservation included both breakfast and Executive Lounge access, but he incorrectly told us that breakfast was not included and asked whether we would like to purchase it. Later, when we tried to enter the Executive Lounge, our key card did not work. Another staff member had to reprogram the card before we could access the lounge. The following day, when we returned to the hotel, the key card that had not been reprogrammed still would not unlock our room door. This clearly indicates that the staff member who checked us in failed to set up the key cards properly. For a hotel of Hilton's standard, such errors are simply unacceptable and surprisingly unprofessional.

Great location, very good breakfast apart from charging extra to poach an egg.

Reported broken towel rail, not fixed correctly, fell off immediately on touching.

Central location, super clean, restaurant on site, BIG room for Europe! Very nice bathroom.

La cercanía con todo. Está enfrente a la estación central de tren. Espectacular para moverse. Muy buen hotel!

la camera affianco alla mia era divisa solo da una doppia porta, quindi si sentivano tutti i rumori al suo interno

The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The location was exceptional, next to the train station and a quick walk to the Grand Place square and restaurants and shops.
