Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

Excellent location. You cannot be more central than the Westwood. When you first walk in, it seems very small but it's charming and comfortable without being stuffy. We booked a deluxe room overlooking the park and it was nice to have a balcony to have fresh air. The king bed was so comfortable and the sheets were butter. Everything was clean, even though the decor was a little old, I would define it as classic. I didn't think I would love the tub opened to the room but it was the best thing after walking all day. Being downtown I was worried it would be noisy but it wasn't except for the occasional ambulance driving by. Service was fantastic! From the front desk to the bellmen, housekeeping leaving little treats and all. Bacchus had wonderful food that should not be missed! The lounge was perfect to have a nightcap to end the day. Not a cheap stay by any means but it is so worth it for a weekend!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving wknd spent at Wedgewood! We travelled in from Ontario, and couldn't have chosen a better local to spend time with our adult kids, and see the city. Perfectly situated, warm and welcome customer service, such a pleasant greeting every time we walked back through the doors. The Lounge is perfect for cocktails or breakfast, or to catch the Blue Jays playoff game! We didn't get time to have dinner at Bacchus, but the Thanksgiving Brunch was excellent. We will definitely choose Wedgewood for future Van trips. Well done!

Hotel, service and room were very good. I would suggest finding a way to put more electricity by the bed. I had to unplug the clock for the sleep apnea machine and then couldn’t plug in my phone or iPad.

The most beautiful hotel was like a warm cosy blanket! Our rooms were sumptuous and very well appointed (although Canadian hotels really need to invest in better hairdryers) and the lounge bar was a real haven. Beautiful wood panelling, stunning bar, live piano music and great service. The perfect place to sip a cocktail, enjoy a lazy breakfast, or a tasty dinner. Concierge service and recommendations were also excellent. Manged to get us into a busy restaurant and suggested some slightly different excursions to the usual tourists spots. Will definitely visit again.

We love the Wedgewood. The staff is amazing... Kirby, Ryan, Andrew and all the others at the front desk who greeted us warmly from the first day to the day we left.

I was a guest at this elegant hotel several years ago, so when the opportunity to revisit Vancouver presented itself, I welcomed the opportunity to return. And, I was not disappointed. As a matter of fact, it exceeded my expectations based on my vived memory.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wedgewood and would highly recommend it. The rooms were big, very clean and all the staff went above and beyond and the location was perfect, you could walk everywhere. Special thanks to Ryan, David and the lovely Irishman whose name we didn’t get!!

We loved this hotel. We had great service from all the staff we met. It was worth every penny. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here at one time over the course of our stay and all were good. Our room was large and comfortable and pretty quiet to say that it faced onto the street.

Very friendly staff, lovely furniture and great breakfast at an ideally located area. I loved this hotel!
