Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

We treated ourselves at the end of our trip to Canada with a stay for 3 days in the Wedgewood. What a treat! Great location, sumptuous room, wonderful staff and great facilities. We had a suite which was huge and very comfortable. Special mention must go to David and Andrew on the front desk who were knowledgeable, friendly and SO helpful in helping to plan a seaplane trip to Vancouver Island. Went above and beyond in terms of researching and then even booking it for us. Genuinely interested in making sure we had a good time and full of suggestions. Thank you both SO much. We would have no hesitation in recommending this comfortable and stylish hotel to anyone.

Did a lot of research prior to booking as I was looking for a high-end boutique experience. The website defintiely oversold it. I stayed in a King suite, the room was dark, had very low ceilings, an old feel, and musty smell. The website also promotes L’Occitaine products in-room, which was a deciding factor for me (aligned with a certain quality), but this was inaccurate info. Front desk service was amazing, but service in the restaurant lounge was not attentive. Waited an extra half hour while tired, trying to catch our waitresses’s attention to get the bill (she kept passing our table and tending to this around us). Not at all worth the cost (paid over $1,100 for 2 nights) by comparison of quality and amenities against other boutique luxury hotels at this price. Best thing going for it is the location. Will not return.

This location was fantastic. The hospitality was very welcoming and accommodating. The amenities were as expected and quite deluxe. The location was exceptional as it was quite central to many locations. Lastly, the room was clean and kept up.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Such a warm and welcoming hotel. Beautiful bar, fabulous food and lovely large rooms. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. A special thanks to Kirby and Daniel for being helpful and everyone on the front desk. All the staff in bar restaurant were equally welcoming - always with a smile. Unfortunately we only spent one night at this well kept jewel of a hotel. The doorman, Kirby, is an absolute treasure! A wonderful wealth of information, charming and all round adorable. Front desk... spot on! Great feel to the hotel and bar and awesome location! Highly recommend!

This location is perfect for the traveler who likes a warm quaint atmosphere in conjunction with easy walking access to all that the location has to offer. The staff is beyond pleasant, accomodating, and inviting. The concierge, Melvin, helped us navigate all things "tourist" as well as suggesting some things that were "native" to the area. The restaurant/bar was plush with comfort and excellent service. Bartenders Jesse & Ashton knew our favorite cocktails after the first day! The front desk staff....Dicken, David, Ryan, & Andrew made it feel like home. Kirby & Martin kept the front door experience very entertaining, top hats and tails included! Our luggage was expertly handled by bellmen Jordan & Denis. Let's not forget the fresh baked cookies that were left in the room every evening! What a wonderful week at the Wedgewood!

We have been regular customers of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa for the last 5 years and it never disappoints. The location is fabulous, walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, Stanley Park & the sea wall. The rooms are lovely and include numerous extra touches such as high end bath products, chocolates on arrival and delicious homemade cookies with turndown service every evening. We were fortunate enough, on our last stay, to be upgraded to the penthouse suite, which has two spacious balconies overlooking Robson Square as well as a jacuzzi and fireplace. The restaurant, Bacchus, is outstanding and has great ambience, whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. Their fixed menu Thanksgiving dinner this weekend was superb! However, what really sets this boutique hotel apart is the staff and the personalized service. It would be unfair to name staff members who went above and beyond as every single member of the staff across all departments is consistently friendly, courteous, welcoming and exceptionally helpful, exceeding all expectations. Management must be doing something right as we see the same staff at the property year after year and it is easy to tell that they take great pride in the property. We visit Vancouver quite frequently and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. The Wedgewood is perfection for us!

Although the staff and ambience were graciously hospitable, the room temperature was very difficult to control. When arrived room was too warm, quickly became too cold. Middle of the night trying to get it from AC to heat was a major ordeal. Slept poorly as a result.

Beautiful room on the 8th floor with fabulous views of Robson Square. Nice touches everywhere and the most comfortable bed ever!! Cant wait to be back at the Wedgewood.
