Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

Wildly overrated. Paid alot for stained room, broken Wi-Fi, rude staff, and a noisy room till 4 a.m. Looks great in photos, falls apart in person. Total rip-off. Avoid.

We've had a wonderful stay at The Wedgewood! Everyone has been so accommodating. The omelette at breakfast was my favourite breakfast of our 6 week trip! Also, Dennis with room service couldn't do enough! Thank you all!

Thank you to the Wedgewood for a lovely first experience! My husband and I were given a VSO performance and night's stay in Vancouver as a wedding gift, and it was absolutely delightful! Hornby St is busy on a Saturday afternoon, but the valets were efficient and friendly and got us in the building and our car on its way quickly. When we entered the lounge/lobby area, the concierge at the desk already had our reservation pulled up and greeted us by name. Check-in and checkout were smooth and they included a complimentary upgrade to a 14th-floor suite. Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas too, so all in all it was a magical visit!

I came for a conference and fell in love with this hotel. The welcoming tone is immediately set by David at the front desk,who is thoughtful, kind, professional, and offers me things I need before I realize I need them. The hot apple cider in the lobby was perfect on a cold, rainy evening. The rooms and beds are quite comfortable. This will be my preferred spot for future Vancouver trips. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Excellent hotel!!! Starting from greeting, bell service, lobby checked in by Ryan, and hotel restaurant. Everyone was very nice with great smile and clean place. I would definitely go back there again!!

From waking up, through breakfast and then ending the day with a night cap drink in the bar. Our stay was a complete delight. All of the staff are welcoming and helpful. A very different experience to the normal big brand hotels. You can rely on this hotel to give you a memorable experience. 100% recommendation. It is a little bit of magic in downtown Vancouver. Kirby at the front door and Sharmaine behind the front desk, along with all staff members were welcoming with exceptional attention to detail. Rooms were both spacious and cozy. Bacchus Restaurant (Lobster Bisque + Bison Shortribs!) & Lounge (grilled Albacore tuna + Bacchus Cobb Salad) are perfect for dining and drinks. Make sure to stop in for an evening cocktail (perfect Manhattan) & to hear beautiful, live piano music. Highly recommend. If you love Christmas, this is one hotel that still does it up in full - a MUST visit over the holidays, and year 'round. Its location makes it wonderfully walkable to shopping, restaurants (although you don't need to go beyond Bacchus), Stanley Park (a good walk!) and all of the city.

I have been going to the Wedgewood for business and pleasure for over 30 years. The staff are always friendly, but very professional, and the hotel rooms and amenities top notch. It is my home away from home. From the valet professionals to the front desk, concierge and food and bar service staff, this hotel gives the best service I have ever experienced at Vancouver hotels. I very highly recommend it.

This was the 4th or 5th time I have stayed at the Wedgewood and each time I go it is amazing. The second the doorman opens that door, you are greeted with such warmth and hospitality. Every staff member I came into contact with is even friendlier than the last. Service is impeccable, rooms are exceptionally clean and the beds are sooo comfy. I will never stay anywhere else in Vancouver.
