"Stay at the Towers and eat and drink at the lounge"

10.0

I stayed at the Towers at the Kahler Grand. The food and service in the penthouse lounge are very good. The hotel is connected by underground walkway called the "subway" to the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced on Hotels'com given the availability of very good food for breakfast, lunch and diner in the lounge. Food and drinks are FREE in the lounge! The chief concierge in the executive lounge is very knowledgeable and helpful. You will not be disappointed if you stay at the Towers at the kahler Grand.

Very nice hotel. Conveniently located across the street from Mayo Clinic and Methodist-Mayo Hospital. Staff was both professional and friendly. I plan to stay there again.

"Completely satisfied"

I stayed at the Towers at Kahler Grand Hotel for a week-long schedule of consultations and tests at Mayo Clinic. My friend and I were completely satisfied with the service, comfort, cleanliness, and location of this hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

"Excellent Hotel, Great Service!"

10.0

We chose to stay here because of its proximity to Mayo Clinic where we were dealing with some health issues. The Hotel is literally connected to The Clinic by skyway or just across the street if you want to go via the outdoor route. The hotel itself has a classic old school feels and was very comfortable. In fact their beds were more comfortable than most other hotels I’ve been at. As if those weren’t enough positives already, the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond at every turn; from just always smiling and pointing the way to even going to a connected garage and picking up our car for us. We’d wanted to valet it but couldn’t find the main entrance initially since they had a couple of different entrances at the street level. The reason for this is that we didn’t want to walk all the way to the parking lot after dealing with the medical interventions coming up. So they went to that garage and picked it up and placed it with their valet instead. Oh and valet service is free with them. Now I should note we stayed at ‘The Towers’ part of the hotel which is their “VIP” section but we’ve stayed at high end hotels before many times before and NEVER received this service. There’s more but I’m running out of space to type :-) If you’re in Rochester to be seen at Mayo Clinic or otherwise you definitely won’t go wrong staying here!

"A nice, classic style hotel with excellent staff"

10.0

The Towers at Kahler is always quiet at night for good sleep, which I like when I am there to go to the Mayo Clinic. I like the Towers because of the executive lounge, which has tasty and healthy food from breakfast until dinner, as well as snacks and drinks 24/7.

"The Kayler Tower Hotel is lovely"

10.0

We usually stay club level at the Marriott when we are in Rochester, but decided to try The Kayler Tower Hotel for our current trip. We loved it and this will be our new place to stay. The Kayler Tower hotel is beautiful and the club far exceeded our expectations. The club level staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

"Excellent service"

Extrême gentillesse de l'ensemble du personnel de l'hôtel. Les infrastructures sont vieillissantes et meriteraient un rafraîchissement. Très bon service et très bonne qualité des mets.

"Amazing experience "

10.0

This was my first stay here and it was exceptional! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The room was warm, inviting, and comfortable. The linens were soft and cozy. The complementary breakfast was vast and very well done. The yogurt even had s fresh strawberry puree blended into it. Every last detail, down to the fresh flowers in our room, were noticed and perfect! Thank you for the outstanding hospitality.

"Deluxe accommodations very close to Mayo Clinic"

8.0

I have stayed at the Kahler Grand several times while visiting the Mayo Clinic. The staff is very welcoming and the Executive King Room wonderful. I have been curious about the Towers; I had appointments at the Mayo Clinic in early January and found a great rate on Expedia for the Towers. We checked in at the front desk of the Grand but there was confusion over our reservation. When our reservation was located, we were told we had to wait for the Towers concierge to come to the Kahler Grand Lobby to take us to our room in the Towers. After traveling all day and wanted to rest before early appointments at the Mayo Clinic, I did not want to wait. After lengthy discussion, the bellman was permitted to show us our room. The room was fine; the fresh flowers on the table were a nice touch. There was no shampoo included among the amenities in the bathroom but there was conditioner! Yes, I could call and request shampoo but I really expect that a luxury hotel would pay attention to such detail. My experience was a curious mix of attempts to create a luxurious environment with elements lacking to actually provide a guest with such an environment. Examples include the insistence of a concierge escort to one's room, not including shampoo in the bathroom; not providing enough toilet paper for a three-night stay; not providing easy access to a printer. There was virtually no drawer space....we had to use the closet shelf for our folded clothing.
