Best Western O'Hare/Elk Grove Hotel

Good hotel, excellent breakfast, comfort beds, AC works perfect.

Not far from airport. Near gas station and subway

Stay was very unprofessional. When checking in, I stood in front of the front desk representative approximately 2 minutes before he acknowledged me and asked if i needed to check in. The room had white towels that had red blood stains on them in the bathroom. The room was booked for 4 people but was only given 3 towels to use. Asked for more towel but did not receive it. When checking out a different representative gave an attitude when I asked for a shuttle for the airport. He stated “everytime I eat my banana, somebody comes to the front asking for something.” He asked for my room number then when I gave my room number he responded “yeah sure”. When loading for shuttle he was really rude of reserving a shuttle in advance. I told him I told the night shift front desk person I needed a shuttle but didn’t know I needed to reserve it. He stated “well there’s a big sign right there (on desk) that say you need to reserve it.” I told him well we’ll never have to worry about my service again since he is rude and unprofessional. As I was telling him how rude he was being, he walked away as if I wasn’t talking to him. While we are currently headed to the airport it is raining and he is driving the shuttle extremely fast and I have 2 children and my disabled mother with me. I will never visit this hotel again.

The breakfast was terrific, and the staff was very friendly. The lady at the counter knew how to keep her composure since there were many people there, and she was also taking calls. The place was neat and comfortable, and I actually stayed there twice.

I needed a place to stay that was convenient to the airport's location, and this met that need. There is really nothing I can say bad about this place and I'm happy to stay there.

We booked this online to park and fly only in November for a January trip expecting to use the free shuttle service and it also asked for the number of riders when I booked it. The young man checked us in and gave us a card with info on how to notify the shuttle on our return. SHIFT CHANGE... After waiting for the shuttle to arrive we were told we were supposed to reserve the shuttle when we got there and that it was full with people that booked it LAST NIGHT.... Don't think letting them know when we got there that it would have made a difference... Ended up taking a taxi that cost an additional $31 plus tip. Called to speak to the manager after our trip to see if they would give us a refund for the taxi and she was very rude and actually a total b...h! Obviously this place doesn't care about return customers. This was our 2nd time using them but will definitely be our last. Hope she enjoys my review...
