Nice and well maintained hotel. Good location for local food and shopping.

Location is great and it is next to a mall with a supermarket. Clean, decent amenities and we had an enjoyable stay.

I think this is a perfect example of a hotel that's "good" and not "great". The staff were decent but not a lot around, the room was definitely clean enough but not spotless. The check-in process was a bit excessive but nothing too bad. Sometimes, when you see a hotel rated 4/5 it's because it's an average of 5 star reviews with a few 1 star ones. That's not the case here, I think most people just agree it's a 4/5.

Excellent hotel for the price and walkable to various malls and the historic district. Also situated next to the bus interchange for long distance buses to other cities in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. Room was clean and comfy and the staff were excellent.

I stayed 2 nights in August 2025 for a business trip. Room was cosy but spacious. Nice bed. Toilet works well. Breakfast spread was everything you can think of. Local food such as nasi lemak, roti canai and noodles topped with a variety of fruits and juices. Salads, breads and many more. FYI, I had pancakes, congee, kewtiau soup, local fruits and a bit of everything else .

The hotel is located in a very convent location that closes to shopping malls and old town. The room I stayed is okay though not particularly excellent, however, hotel's service is not bad except there is always a queue for check in and check out. Anyway, the JEN is still recommended from my personal experience. But there are two newer hotels just opposite to it that others may check out too.

Comfortable room. Near to a mall and the bus station.

Lunch buffet is ok only as food would be better if it’s hot.
