Kiso Mikawaya

The room was super comfortable and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were all tasty with good variety to choose from. The area was a good base to explore Kiso Valley.

A very pleasant, small hotel with a nice onsen bath and was, located riverside in a quiet area. The yukata was very good, and pleasant to wear .

A little far to walk. A taxi ride was essential as we had large luggage’s. Although dinner and breakfast were included, and so was very good value, it was all self service, and clean up.

Il personale è gentilissimo, sia le signore in sala che la ragazza della reception sono fantastiche. Sia la colazione che la cena ottime. La camera è spaziosa, con letti molto comodi.

It was closer to the train station connected by buses and also walkable if someone wants to walk. They give everything you need.

I think I booked a wrong room by mistake. I would have preferred to have a bathroom in my room that particular day but it’s on me that I made a wrong booking. But one thing though staff seemed a bit tired. They didn’t deny any request or anything but it was interesting to see that they seemed a bit uninterested. But that’s how the staff are in Europe most of the times soo it didn’t bother me that much.

Breakfast was adequate but dinner was ordinary and cold.

Dinner. Would look for dinner options within the town if were to visit again.
