Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond West End

Staff very helpful and professional at check-in.

I truly can not believe this is a Marriott. We stay exclusively at Marriott hotels and this is by far the worse one I have ever seen. It is so run down, trash throughout the complex, things broken, dirty, pool with absolutely filthy water. On top of that the area looks to be very unsafe. I think people are living here long term. When we went to get into our "Penthouse Suit" the door was barricaded my someone already in there. I will say the manager was extremely helpful and refunded our money immediately. But do yourself and favor and do not book this hotel!

Property was dirty outside, felt unsafe.

Although it had decent reviews it was not a decent place to stay. Unclean, outdated and the staff was unprofessional. I booked another hotel and didn’t stay at this one.

The lady at the front desk was rude. The pool was brown and green and they give us floor towels to use as regular towels.

This was by far the worst experience.

Breakfast was great and location was great.

The bathroom sink had low water pressure.

There was a loud group of individuals participating in very loud conversations and activities outside late at night

Liked the arrangement of the accommodations.
