Quinta do Passo

Situació, centre població, la Quinta do Passo, és molt acollidora, molt ben cuidada i feta amb molt de gust, cuiden tots els detalls, tant de fora com de dintre, fan els llits i neteja cada dia.

Unser Aufenthalt über vier Tage war leider äußerst enttäuschend. Der Außenbereich war ungepflegt: durchnässte Lounge-Kissen, ein beschädigter Gartentisch und viel Moosbewuchs. Innen roch die Wohnung feucht und miefig, das Badfenster war undicht, die Schiebetür kaum zu bedienen und der Kunststoff-Parkettboden löste sich. Die Küche war veraltet, unpraktisch und zusätzlich von Ameisen befallen. Die Kühlschranktür war falsch montiert, es gab keine Abwaschmaschine und während des gesamten Aufenthalts nur lauwarmes Warmwasser (ich duschte nie)!!! Trotz hoher Kosten erschien nur einmal jemand zur Reinigung. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist völlig katastrophal. Wir haben alle Mängel fotografisch dokumentiert. Dieses Appartement können wir unter keinen Umständen weiterempfehlen.

Excellent stay! Host really was communicative so easy to check in. Loved the accommodations … bed was extremely comfortable and the place was beautiful. So nice to be near historic downtown area but it felt like a little oasis of our own. Courtyard was beautiful and too bad we were off season as the pool was looking lovely. Close to restaurants, grocery store and the beautiful waterfront area. Truly top notch. Great to have designated parking!

Schiebentüre kaum zu öffnen, Kühlschrank/Micro alt und inkomplet. Schimmel am Dach und Wände. Kein Service über das Wochenende nicht vorhanden.

Nice stay in Quinta do Passo - easy spot to visit the area - very clean and quiet rooms - lots of space.

The property was beautiful, well maintained and equipped. There was a lovely welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival, providing essentials to hold us over until we were able to go grocery shopping. Having several designated parking places was very helpful. It was like a hidden garden oasis in the midst of an old city.

Though the directions for usage were detailed, the door lock to the unit was complicated. We finally got the pattern down by the time we left. A suggestion for consideration is to provide a few suggestions for local restaurants, grocery stores and sights to see in the area. Though google is our friend, some personal recommendations would have been appreciated.

This was our favorite stay in Sao Miguel and exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable and there is a town square nearby with lots of eateries and live music on the weekend. The pool was perfect and the communal space feels both private and inviting. Facilities were impeccably clean. Would definitely stay here again.
