The hotel had many gluten free options at the breakfast buffet. They had homemade gluten free chocolate muffins, blueberry pound cake, bread and bagels. They also had a dedicated toaster for gluten free items. The remainder of the buffet items had GF designations if they were gluten free. It is difficult to travel with celiac disease, so I usually resort to protein bars. The server Claudia was super friendly and assured me the items were gluten free.

Very convenient location to cruise port

The room was nice enough. Wasn’t here long enough to use any of the facilities or amenities. But what in the heck is up with housekeeping? This is pretty universal, not just here, but this was particularly egregious. I had a 2 PM late checkout. I had my do not disturb sign on the door. But yet they start banging on the door at 9:45 in the morning. Even regular checkout is at 11. how about some communication between the front desk and housekeeping as to who’s checking out when, instead of banging on a door that is marked do not disturb to ask the customer when they are checking out?????

I was in town for a conference and Richard at the front desk was unbelievably kind. So helpful and funny. Top notch employee

I had to return my AVIS rental car to the Hilton location and arrived about five minutes before the posted closing time. Unfortunately, no one was at the counter. There was also no clear signage directing where to leave the car, so I wasted additional time driving around the property trying to figure out the correct drop‑off point. It turned out that only one employee was working, and he was outside inspecting another vehicle. By the time he returned, it was 6:04 PM — technically after closing — and the counter was already shut down. Because of this, I was told I’d need to keep the car overnight, pay for hotel parking ($49), and pay for an extra day of rental ($79). According to AVIS policy this is “correct,” but the situation was caused entirely by the lack of staff coverage and unclear drop‑off instructions. Everything could have been avoided with proper signage or a second employee. Travelers should be aware that arriving even a few minutes before closing may still result in after‑hours charges. See the attached picture. If you think that AVIS counter is there, then you are wrong!
