Hilton Palacio del Rio

Wonderful Riverwalk location for a weekend trip!!! Attended the NBA Finals at Frostbank Center, visited The Alamo, did a riverboat tour, ate at Pinkertons (BBQ) and Mi Tierra Cafe (Tex-Mex). Guest experience member Meagan was amazing! She made our first visit to San Antonio feel welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for food and places to visit. The hotel breakfast was delicious, fresh, good variety r Christina guest ambassador was very friendly, professional and helpful! It was a great experience overall...we left on a "Hilton High"!!!

Love location, restaurants have great food, staff friendly.

Beds are a bit hard for my liking.

If you are familiar with San Antonio and taken the river boar tour, you know about this property. They way they built it is fascinating but aside from all of that, i'm here to tell you, this hotel stands out above many other Hiltons in town. I was in town for a large conference earlier this month and due to a major infrastructure issue I had to move hotels in the middle of the night. Not the other hotel's fault, things happen sometimes. I booked on my app, packed quickly and headed there. I think i checked in at 11:45pm. Immediately upon arriving i could tell this place would be superior than another Hilton property I stayed at last year. You just know instantly upon walking in, they take good care of this hotel. Ernesto C. helped me check in, honor my Hilton status and provided me with all the information i needed to continue on my business trip the next day as if nothing had happened. I point out his name because this gentleman was kind, respectful and professional. It was such a nice experience to be welcomed by him under the stressful circumstances mentioned above. Although I never got to see the pool, I ate breakfast everyday at their restaurant. The buffet is nice, small but sufficient selection of items, plus they'll make eggs to order in any fashion you wish, that was rather nice. The riverwalk offers an interactive wildlife experience. The ducks jump out of the water to demand their share of your breakfast as a toll and the birds will join you at your table wether you make eye contact or not. Simply decline politely and they will move on to another guest. You'll be fine :) Julia and Carina were fantastic as my servers and hope to see them again next time I visit. The Monarch just opened across the street and looks lovely but i like the riverwalk, the balconies with the view, are just adorable. I dare to say this will be my home when I visit San Antonio again (which i intent to do much more often. Every time i visit i fall in love more and more.) This hotel's staff understands hospitality and why people come back to one hotel over and over again. The rooms are not not the newest but hey are spotless. The beds are super comfy and again, the people, the make all the difference. Well done Hilton Palacio Del Rio. 5 out of 5 for me. Will come back again.
