Rest and Welcome

Host was lovely and the breakfast was filling

The Rest and Welcome is 5 mins walk from Blackpool North train station, 16 mins walk from Madame Tussaud, 10 mins walk from Blackpool Tower, Winter Gardens e.t.c. The staff at Rest and Welcome are pleasant too.

Can't comment on breakfast as not a breakfast person. Privacy is 100% respected as don't go in your room while you're there. The location is absolutely spot on stones throw away from Blackpool North train station, supermarket and Sea Front.

No signage on shared amenity doors. In use/empty, available/unavailable. Only saying this as in the early hours of needing to empty my bladder and thinking I'd locked the door, I hadn't and had the door opened on me lol. Thankfully was all done and ready to exit ( blushes spared ).

Check in was quick and friendly. Location was good near bars and station. Mattress was decent and shower temperature and pressure both good. Towels and brew supplies decent. Blackout curtains. Plenty of CCTV and rules and contact information displayed in communal areas.

Small bathmat. No toiletries in shower. Locks could be a bit fiddly. Nowhere really large enough to open a suitcase - which was ok as I had a backpack. Breakfast finishes too early for me.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and good value.
