The internet at the Baton Rouge Marriott was apparently taken out by a storm two days before we checked in and we were not notified of this fact until we tried for an hour to connect to the internet and went downstairs and were told it would not be fixed for two more days. we should have been told this before check in. Also a new parking fee is being imposed there without any prior notice and could not be tacked on to our room bill but had to be paid thru iphone in parking lot.

It was convenient to get around. The staff was helpful. The only thing is they didn’t say anything about the daily incidental charge of $40 that they pre authorize on your card.

"Pretty hotel that needs chamges"

The room was spacious and convenient having a restaurant.

My experience with the restayrant the first morning was great. The waitress was fantastic! However, the waitress named, Elizabeth for dinner she took forever with orders and kept forgetting things. The restaurant offered buffet for breakfast but not pancakes, waffles or French toast. No free coffee in the lobby, no microwave in rooms. The shower was dirty. I returned home and was diagnosed with an infection to my right eye. It came from bacteria. The infection is so bad that I had to miss work and see a specialists due to the infection affecting my sight.

I didn’t like how they let cars get broken into even when you pay for parking and then they tell you they can’t do anything about it or run cameras back when your on their property

Our second time staying at this hotel and we were not disappointed at all. The staff is very professional and friendly and the room meets my bougie cleanliness standards lol. We stayed here for the weekend while we moved my daughter into LSU apartment. I also must add that these rooms are very soundproof and that is super important to me. Thank you.
