Amazing 10 stars!!!! We had our wedding at Zota September 19th 2025 and everyone all of the staff were so pleasant and 10 stars service. Thank you to Jane, Susan, Borgan and Walter. Jackie was amazing as well! We will be back every year. Clean rooms, great food, private beaches, just 10 stars we loved the beach view room as well! Breathtaking! Thank you Zota for making our day so perfect !!!

We went to viento for breakfast and were served by Susan. She was so sweet and helpful. Food was delicious! It was a great experience!

Ok, so I don’t write many reviews and certainly not bad ones….until now. So, we’ve just had 3 lovely days in an Opal Beachfront Room (515)…..it had been a very nice stay, it was the end of the season and the hotel was practically empty, which worked for us. As our flight was late night we didn’t want to leave the hotel until 5pm. So I went to Reception, before Breakfast and spoke with Layton on the front desk, explaining our dilemma and requesting a late checkout. After a few taps on his keyboard, he sighed and said that unfortunately our room had already been assigned, and when I pushed harder,so had all the Beachfront rooms. I said, ok, how about we pay for a half day, as other people have done, and we move to a non Beachfront room. His response was priceless, and I quote…”we can’t do that as it would inconvenience housekeeping”……yep, that’s what I thought….🤬🤬 At this point I left Layton in Reception before I’d said something I might later regret and we went out to breakfast. When we checkout later that morning, different associate, thankfully…I explained what had happened earlier and was then told the hotel was hosting a large wedding party, with 125 guests, starting today, 18 Sep 2025 and that it would be impossible to allocate us another room….i didn’t get the ladies name, but left feeling something was not right…… Checking later I note that the hotel has 187 rooms, that’s at least 360 people, still plenty of space, so that argument doesn’t fly either. And then I remembered the previous night the bar keep upstairs had been moaning about how quiet it was going to be now…..so as we collected our car from the Valets, I asked them if they had a busy day coming up….they laughed and said, no, it was going to be another slow day at the office, their actual words….rolling their eyes in the process. Oh, and guess what….i tried booking rooms online, for tonight 18 Sep…..and loads of space in all room options, inc Opal Beachfront………. Shame on you, Zota Beach……caught out badly….but why….that’s what I don’t understand……🤔🤔 Here endeth the rant…….but if you’re going to need a late checkout, Zota Beach is not the place for you.

Great location, great pool and hot tub and gym!

Poor customer service from the front desk staff never greeting their customers, to the restaurant servers asking for dessert orders while we were in the middle of their meals. Outdated rooms, at least the ones in the original building; perhaps the Opal section was better. We had a suite with a terrible pull out mattress. The fridge also broke. Perhaps a two star hotel experience. The beach is beautiful but you need to pay for an umbrella, despite the fact that you pay a daily resort fee. The pool is nice but needs resurfacing. The pool bar was under renovation. Overall disappointing.
