Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville by IHG

The lobby was beautiful, the person at the desk was very nice and helpful.

The location of the hotel, difficult to come and go to Ashville area. No cleaning in the rooms. Trash was not ever emptied in our room. When we asked for more towel tjey did not offer to take the wet towels. Had to go and get more coffee etc to make coffee in our room. I understand not wasting wayer etc, but there is no reason to leave people in a room for 3 days without even offering to empty trash or replenish items that need to be replaced.

Bar and restaurant on site were fantastic. Our room had sliding doors and a patio leading to a large grassy area, very relaxing. This is where we will stay every time we need to overnight in Asheville.

It was a decent location near downtown

There were wasps in my room, after killing one I realized there were more. Called the front desk - they upgraded my room to king- which is not an upgrade for a single traveler. The new room was dirty, I had black hair in my towels, there were pieces of cardboard you could clearly see so the room was not clean- and the outlets in the bathroom did not work. Meaning I had to get ready without being able to see. Very disappointing stay and total waste of money. I would’ve rather slept in my car.

This was our first stay at this property. We we very pleased with our stay. Check in went smoothly and the employee at the front desk was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that really was a little irritating is the plugs are so worn from use, we had a hard time charging our phones because the plugs would just not stay in. We finally found one that worked without any issues. We dined in the hotel restaurant, which was very nice and had a beautiful overlook of green hills and trees. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. We enjoyed sitting by the fire out on the patio and watched a beautiful sunset. As we checked out, I mentioned to the desk clerk that we were going to the Biltmore and she was nice enough to give me a map and chatted with me about it for a few minutes. We had a great experience and the next time I'm in Asheville I will more than likely stay at this property.

Very nice hotel, looks like they have been making some updates.
