Hilton Albany

The location was fantastic, and the staff were so friendly! I felt like I could’ve easily explored more if I had had more time, without having to drive.

I’ve noticed a loose ventilation panel near my window in my room. Also, it seems like there aren’t any trash bags in any of the trash cans in my room, and it’s the same in the bathroom. The door won’t close completely, and if you try to close it, it might get stuck, which could be a bit of a problem. Plus, there’s only a quarter of a facial tissue in the bathroom.

...ugggg, long feedback form bed...just not comfortable...body wells, time to change the mattress pillows weighed a ton tv was unnavigable bathroom was small & door banged into shower rod & door stop felt more like a motel than a hotel

Good location that’s about it !

I’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels all over the world, the Hilton Albany is the worst one ever ! No evening restaurants open, just bar snacks, the food was rubbish and the staff….. well what can I say without being rude !! Just awful sones it up ! Our room had no heating or hot water, it was 8*C outside, called front desk to make a complaint, they said they would send an engineer up to fix, no engineer turned up ! Again awful service. I complained at checkout but the girl on the front desk wasn’t interested, she just said it’s an old building with plumbing problems! No offer of a reduction in the price for the stay ! Again absolutely terrible customer service! I hope booking.com strike this hotel off the list ! End of rant !! 😡

We were given a room with a door leading to another room. We heard everything in that other room and therefore did not sleep well. We were not told about this door and would NEVER have accepted this situation. Very disappointing, oversight in the booking process.

I had tried to cancel the stay but the hotel never responded. So I decided to use the room. I texted that I would arrive late. When I arrived I was told that there were no rooms and my room was occupied. Additionally, they refused a refund until I was persistent and adamant that the hotel wrongly failed to answer my texts and calls. Plus I had paid for the room and advised I would be late. I shouldn’t have to get aggressive to make the hotel do the right thing.will never return.

It was convenient to get to where we needed to go.

There was mouse running around in the room. Refrigerator was broken. Phone barely worked. Loud noise from generator or so from outside but from the building.
