Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva

The hotel public areas, the urban bar and breakfast on the terrace were expensive but stunning and worth the money. The room was very disappointing in its decor. It looked like a 1980s 3*. We were actually shocked it was a Kempinski room. When we spoke to the very friendly staff they did say it had yet to be renovated. We were disappointed at first but after dinner at the sublime Le Grill, breakfast in the terrace overlooking the lake and drinks in the Urban retreat, combined with how comfortable the beds and linens are we would return (to a renovated room!)

Outstanding hotel. At the jet d’ eat beautiful landscape and excellent staff. I will give it 5.5 stars.

Luxury hotel near city center. Great pool/spa area and services

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel. Located right in the heart of the city and across the street from the lake. It’s been all newly renovated. The rooms and bathrooms are very very large and fantastic. All the staff are wonderful and very helpful. Great Terrace restaurant and bar overlooking the lake. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice Hotel, air conditioning could use some work, never received any VIP from hotel, although it was a VIP hotel and I have a gold membership with Expedia

This is one of the best hotels on the strip. I have stayed at almost all of them and this one for the value and amenities is perfect. They are perfectly located and have everything you can possibly desire.

Great location and very well appointed hotel with a very professional and helpful reception and concierge service let down by rude waitresses, incessant room service checks and a very expensive (but excellent) breakfast.

The hotel is located at the lake with a breathtaking view, really central location. It's the best location in Geneva you don't need to user you car when you stay there. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The hotel facilities were of a high standard. A good hotel all round. what is a minus-- Breakfast was a mess, very little dishes were offered, they were fully booked and staff was very UN-organized that day, not really worth 50CHF.
