Treffen House Doha - Souq Waqif and next to Msheireb Metro Station

Because I stayed for 1 night it didnt make much difference to me. But room was small and also comfort wise was not good enough. Staff was very cooperative though. Being a old building it does show up

It is near to famous museum of Islamic art , souq waqif and Doha port. But now surrounding area is under construction everywhere. (Huge town is under re-construction) The road is closed due to construction. No near good restaurant. Illegal-looking taxis (without taxi mark with higher fare) But the hotel itself is not bad. (For taxi driver tell 'sofitel' instead of Mercure they don't know

The room was fine - clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.

The building is a bit dated, but the rooms were neat and clean. The pool was open but cold. The Jacuzzi was closed, as apparently was the sauna, and the exercise facility was meager. Staff was very helpful and cooperative, but the cleaning staff seemed unable to restock the room correctly. There is construction on two sides, which can make things noisy, but that is not Mercure's fault.

i will probably return when the building project has finished and the hotel has been refurbished.

Hotel is totally surrounded by building sites (who work night shifts!). Rooms were dated and overall gave the impression the building is the next to be demolished. There are so many nice hotels in Doha so definitely won't be staying here again. I have to mention though, the staff were lovely; friendly and helpful.

Was good served the purpose Breakfast was ready as early as 4:30 am Bus to airport ready by 6:00 Good enough!

This is a hotel that has a relatively good standard. Certainly good for the price (for which I got it at least). Clean rooms, professional staff, the usual services you would expect. It is not a 5star deluxe, but it is also not the cost of one. I had no complaints about anything and every part of equipment was working and service was fast and pleasant. The immediate environment of the hotel is a bit less pleasing, with a labor-type area. But it is not far from airport and not far from the key locations on that side of the lagoon. I would go there again.

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich but the restaurant guys made a mistake twice by putting meat in it. I think they could have better staff in order to comprehend customer requirements.
