Breakfast was good.

I asked to check in early, was approved through booking service, but when I arrived they couldn't accommodate and it messed up my itinerary for the day

The front desk staff was amazing.

The hallways smell. The bed is very uncomfortable. The rooms are not cleaned well. There was someone else’s hair on my shower wall. The carpet needs to be replaced.

Room size, breakfast included.

Rooms need refreshing. Building smelled of smoke and must. Table in kitchen area was wobbling and falling apart. Breakfast selection was decent, but most hot items were gone and not replaced in a timely manner. Had to ask to have the selection refilled and staff made it feel as if we were bothering them.

The hotel appears to be somewhat dated and seems to be operating with a limited staff. While it initially presents as clean, a closer examination suggests that a more comprehensive deep cleaning and renovation would be beneficial. The hallways have an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a marijauna, cigarettes, and wet dog food. Our room was rather questionable; the furniture exhibited significant wear and tear, the cabinets were scratched and soiled, and the drawers in the kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms were quite unappealing. The shower floor, walls, and grout displayed mildew and mold stains. The floors were stained and showed signs of wear. The sheets and pillows carried an odor of body odor and dampness, suggesting that the laundry facilities require thorough cleaning. The closet racking was broken and partially detached from the wall. For a Sonesta establishment, I found the overall cleanliness to be quite disappointing.
