We stayed here for one

Very friendly and helpful staff. I definitely felt that the guests' satisfaction and comfort is their top priority. The grounds are lovely and so was our spacious room. We had driven to the upper lot of Buttermilk Falls with the intent of hiking to the base of the falls and back, but after reaching the base, a member of our party didn't feel quite well and was unsure if they could hike back to our car. Even though we had checked out of the hotel earlier that day, we called the hotel and asked if someone could pick us up iwith the hotel shuttle van and drive us back to our car. Without hesitation we were told "yes" and our ride was there within a few minutes. The driver was courteous and friendly and saved our day!

We have stayed at La Tourelle numerous times throughout the last four years. The property was recently sold. The lobby was inaccessible. The Bistro was closed. Rooms are less impressive than they used to be. Overall, it is no longer worth the cost.

We unintentionally challenged the patience & hospitality of this amazing staff in a number of ways: from having to change our reservations twice on short notice, checking in at lam (!), extending our stay, bringing a service animal, and more,... we're not usually such a pain, but none of this was received with anything other than a smile and a genuine desire to help and accommodate. As a matter of fact, one of the owners actually helped us out with our bags. So it's clear that this culture of hospitality begins with leadership, and is shared by every member of the staff. We will definitely be back, and we're eager to check out the Firelight Camps, as well! Sidenote, the trail right off of the Firelight Camps (immediately behind the Inn) is a fantastic way to immediately access nature. 10/10!!!

This was a great place to stay while we visited Ithaca. Clean and comfortable. The location was great for hiking, etc.

Nice quiet and newly renovated

I love staying at La Tourelle. The last time we visited earlier this year the renovations were ongoing, this visit the renovations were complete and I have to say the improvements were needed. My very first visit last year you could hear everything now with the new doors and upgrades you can’t hear any neighboring rooms. The double beds are very comfortable along with the king beds. I often sleep better there than I do at home on my brand new mattress. The staff are always friendly and helpful not to mention welcoming to us which I find important in a hotel. The rooms are also affordable which makes a huge difference and is part of the reason I continue to book here, the quality is worth every penny! Overall 10/10 I will continue to stay at La Tourelle every time I am in Ithaca.
