La Posada De Santa Fe, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa

The staff was very accomodating as we booked two rooms and initially they weren't together but made it to where they were both next to each other. The dinner on property was great!

Pool had a lot of bugs/leaves b/c of the tree. Possibly cleaning it more often would be nice.

location was great. fire in fireplace burned out christmas eve, christmas day bar was a mess, poor service. margarita sticky sweet service/staff was mediocre- not service oriented breakfast was good

We visited in late February and the weather was 50ish. Because it is off season we were able to get a great rate. I have loved this property since I visited over the last many years so I wanted to see if it had changed. The hotel site is amazing. Many rooms set in a complex of stuccoed buildings. Our room was a king suite with a fireplace. So cozy. There is only valet parking because the site is small. The valets were so nice and accommodating. The whole staff was amazing. We ate at the bar one night and had breakfast at the restaurant. Both good, both expensive but very very good. My only complaints, and they are minor: the bed pillow are too big but you can request smaller ones; and the toilet paper could be much softer.

Do not stay here. I was overcharged by $300 ( charged twice for a one night stay), spent hours on the phone with the hotel to resolve, and almost a month later I have not been refunded. After multiple attempts asked to speak with a manager…NO callback. This has AWFUL customer service. Ultimately had to dispute credit card charges due to the lack of assistance from the hotel on a mistake they made.

Nice resort. Great local design of the facilities - you really feel to be in the South.

Wrote a much longer review but when I opened settings to allow photo access trip advisor restarted and lost the whole review. Grr! •great property, super charming and well kept •friendly front desk and valet (also quick) •getting to rooms is all outdoors because of the adobe aesthetic. When cold and lots of luggage not the funnest, but the charm is worth it. •room spacious and clean. Bathroom small. Bed comfortable. Don’t get the bad reviews. We really enjoyed our short stay.
