Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Midlothian Turnpike by IHG

It is a nice facility, very nice staff, rooms a bit dated but convertable.

We were sad because the complimentary breakfast started at 7 am and we needed to leave the hotel no later than 6:30 am. Besides that the staff was very friendly, rooms and bathrooms nice and clean.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Hotel a little dated. Great location foe what we needed. Would stay again.

Get some lamps with USB connection had to go get a plug

I paid $178 to stay here and would NOT recommend it to anyone. It is, hands down, the most run down hotel I have stayed at since I was a kid. I have never had a bad experience at a Holiday Inn, but this one is awful. Everything is old, rusty, and unkept. I changed rooms twice before finding one I could stomach. I should have read more reviews before booking, but listen to my advice and choose a different hotel. The first room was musty, there were holes in the curtains, stains on the couch and chair, and overall disgusting. The second room smelled better but had a dirty bathroom. The icing on the cake was a Slim Jim holding up the shower rod. The third room was a suite and is okay, but still far from what I’ve come to expect from Holiday Inns. I will say that the lady at the front desk was lovely- she was understanding and apologetic, and kept giving me a different room until I found one that was suitable. IHG really needs to check this hotel out and do a complete renovation.

Never again

The staff was very friendly. However, the building was very dated and run down. Sticky floors and footprints all around the elevator, worn furnishings and carpet. Probably the worst holiday inn express I've ever seen.

While the staff was friendly, I can’t recommend staying here. Stained furniture in the lobby. My sink was 90% clogged but was not fixed during my stay. General disrepair. Housekeeping staff not close to thorough. My room AC couldn’t keep the room comfortable.

Clean but a bit run down. The gym was horrible -- very little equipment and most of it broken. Food was predictable-- same as any HIE. Befs were comfortable.
