Holiday Inn and Suites Phoenix Airport North by IHG

We stayed two separate nights last week. Two different rooms. Room #1 was good, but the bathroom (only a toilet and shower) was very small, you could barely turn around.S The sink was in the bedroom area. Bed was great. Parking was a little pricey for only being there about 6 hours. Impressed with the in-room coffee set up, it offered a lot of variety from what I have seen in other hotels. Room #2 was a handicap room and you could have a party in the bathroom it was so big. We didn't ask for a handicap room. The one thing we didn't like was the attached restaurant. Breakfast was $18.95 per person and really not that good. Food was cold. We checked out and drove to the end of the building where the restaurant was attached and couldn't get in. We had to drive back to the front of the hotel and walk all the way thru the courtyard to the restaurant. None of that was explained when we checked in....

The hotel staffs here are very nice. Thank you Anthony for being very helpful during the check-in and throughout my stay. Also, thank you a young lady who drive the shuttle bus today (1 April from early morning to afternoon) for being very helpful in giving me direction to the light rail. (Sorry I forgot to ask for her name.)

Our stay was ok. It was only for one night. Our room was fairly spacious. The front desk staff was subpar. When we asked if they had a breakfast, they laughed and said no. It was also never mentioned that they charge you for parking. We noticed when we parked, we saw the parking lot monitor ticketing cars. The local area is a little rougher looking, with not much around. The steel security doors at each entrance are reflective of the surrounding area. It’s definitely not bad for a short stay.

Pool was comfortable temperature. Rooms were great! Breakfast was great.

Location was sketchy. Pulling into a gated area is always a red flag. The hotel was decent. Hot tub was green and smelly. Don’t use the hot tub!

Nothing about this place. I would rate it a zero if I could. This place is horrible.

Everything. DO NOT stay here. This company is false advertising their facility and amenities. The photos shown are NOT an accurate reflection of the real property. This place is in the ghetto, has jail like gates, feral cats roaming near the hotel. I felt like I was in the projects.The elevator didn't work. Severely neglected property. The room has no useful utensils although it had a small kitchenette. The bathroom seemed to have mold. We were next to a giant air conditioning system. I felt uncomfortable just being in the room. I wasn't going to be able to sleep at night so we just went to another hotel even though we had already paid for the room. Never trusting this company again.
