Location is great. All three of our rooms were next door to each other. Staff were so nice all the time.

One of our rooms (115) was very noisy all night, sounded like someone’s air con above was broken but it seemed to be louder than everyone else’s. The fire alarm went off twice, one being 8.30am in morning.

Location is brilliant

Rooms are small, our room had a horrible smell and couldn't open a window to help with this. One small, really thin pillow per person and the carpets was stained!

The check in staff member was lovely.

The extra chargers for leaving luggage and check in early when room was clearly ready is over the top Check in wasnt given any information about breakfast or instructions on room

We were a group of girls travelling from Ireland for a concert and were really pleased with our stay. The location is excellent very central and within easy walking distance of the train station, bars, restaurants and shops. It was great value for money, especially for a city-centre stay. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were on the small side but they were clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for what we needed. We forgot to leave out our request for extra towels but housekeeping staff were very accommodating and sorted this for us without any fuss. Our room overlooked a courtyard rather than having a city view but this actually turned out to be a bonus as it was very quiet with no street noise. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. Overall a friendly, well-located hotel that offers great value for money and we’d happily stay here again

The only downside was that an alarm seemed to go off shortly after 7am each morning which disturbed our sleep. We’re not sure if this was a coincidence or something else but it was the only negative aspect of an otherwise enjoyable stay.
