Embassy Suites by Hilton Palm Desert

I normally do not take time to write a review but I wanted to give a shoutout to Vanessa who was the front desk woman who had checked me in. I came in really late and was exhausted from my day and she was exceptionally kind, accommodating, informative, and patient. Starting my stay with such wonderful service set the whole thing up for success. The suite itself was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Affordable prices and love the convenience of breakfast in the morning and coffee/tea in my room. Overall really nice stay and easy in and out to get on the road to wherever you’re heading. Enjoyed my stay!

We have stayed at Embassy Suites for over 30 years whenever possible, which makes this experience especially disappointing. We booked a six-night prepaid stay at the Embassy Suites Palm Desert. While the staff was welcoming and friendly, the condition of the room was unacceptable and far below Embassy Suites standards. The carpets were stained and visibly dirty, the bathroom was unhygienic, and the sofa felt so soiled that I wouldn’t even sit on it. Overall, we felt uncomfortable and dirty in the room. After the second night, we returned from a full day out to find that the room had been “serviced,” yet the garbage was not removed and the floors were not cleaned. We contacted housekeeping to address this, but even then the floors were still not cleaned. At that point, we had had enough. Earlier that day, we had spoken with the front desk to request a room change and were told that all rooms were in the same condition and that renovations were planned for next year. Ultimately, the hotel agreed to refund three of the final four nights but refused to refund the additional night because it was later in the day—even though the hotel was not full. This was an extremely disappointing experience, especially given our long loyalty to the Embassy Suites brand. I would strongly caution anyone who values cleanliness to reconsider staying at this property.

Bar only accepted cash or room number. Our room wasn't ready and I never carry cash. This was the one major inconvenience

Location to pickleball courts and other places to eat and drink around the area. Alexa and all your staff were great. The maids were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were unable to have breakfast. It closed at about 9 o’clock and every time I went there it was so packed. I would’ve probably had to wait a half an hour to get through a line I’d looked to just pick up a muffin or a piece of fruit and I couldn’t find that about to just grab and go. You may have had it and I didn’t ask.

The room is clean, but I put 8 because there were no disposable slippers in the room, and disposable toothbrushes and toothpastes.

Our experience was very disappointing. We were checked in very late because they said they were behind on cleaning the rooms and they didn't have enough linens to replace the used rooms. I had to follow up twice to check in. I wasn't the only one waiting to be checked in. This couple already got upset and already got mad at the front desk and both parties already were arguing and raising their voices. They accommodated us after that incident. Without that couple being mad, we won't be checked in for sure. This is the 1st time experiencing this inconvenience and the worst experience. Not coming back here anymore.

The front desk staff are helpless! I waited 45 minutes till 4:30 pm to get the room key , even though I told them my kid was sick and needed room for rest. and I did not receive the king size bed room that I booked, instead of a double queen size bed room.
