Embassy Suites by Hilton Palm Desert

Location was great!

I booked for 4 people. They gave us a king plus pull out couch. There were no sheets available and blankets. I requested extra fur to the springs of the mattress were felt on their backs . Bathroom was disgusting! Molds on the shower curtain and tub. Exhaust fan wasn’t working and water dripping from it to the floor . Fridge was dirty and sticky! Front desk was rude and unpleasant! Tv only had basics channels and were past 20th century! I asked for refund and they gave me a hard time!

The room was comfortable.

I thought it was ridiculous they charged $30.00 to park our cars. That should have been included in the motel cost.

We stayed in the Embassy Suites by Hilton for an extended weekend. The suite we booked was clean and comfortable, with a spacious living room, though it somehow had a bathroom that felt like it belonged on a cruise ship, somehow. The decor and cabinetry was dated, but clean. Well used, but durable, let's say. We only interacted with hotel staff a few times, but they were pleasant and helpful. We used its central location as a launching point for the activities we did in the greater Coachella valley (aerial tramway, downtown Palm Springs, Salton Sea). It was walking distance to some great and friendly restaurants. The happy hour bartender was amazing; we definitely appreciated his hospitality. The pool and hot tub were clean, though the towel racks looked about as aged as everything else. Breakfast was busy, but also clean, and the made-to-order fresh omelettes were a nice touch. Would've been nice to have a pancake machine or waffle maker or something. There was an anniversary celebration happening in the ballroom that was quite loud, but the noise levels ceased almost instantly at 10pm, which was appreciated. For a budget friendly option, we enjoyed our stay!

We love the suite set up, breakfast and happy hour.

Room was a bit data, could use refresher, bathroom in particular. $15 per day parking fee.

I liked the cleanliness of the property as a whole. The breakfast was nicely done.

I’m not sure why they charge a parking fee, when the property is open for anyone to drive in and out. I’m not sure if they have security guards servicing the property. The bathroom fan was not working. The patio door opened about 4 inches wide but there wasn’t a screen.

Rosa the housekeeper was great!

Free cocktails and location

The pool was not heated and they did not inform us of that, out of pool towels, the shampoo and body wash were empty in the bathroom or didn't work, out of forks and knives at breakfast. The parking charge was different than the email they sent.

Check in was easy and plenty of parking.

Room was in need of renovation and repair. Door to the fridge was broken, furniture was scratched and needed repair. Plunder the sink was open. There was a charge for WiFi which we we did not need but why was it not included. Overall the rooms needed a facelift. The bathroom was exceedingly small. We have stayed in other properties owned by Hilton that were very nice. We would not stay there again or recommend it.
