Hilton Palm Springs

Excellent location, just a short walk to downtown Palm Springs. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice room and great pool area, with drink service - which was awesome. The pool gets a bit crowded, as it's large... but not huge for those big warm weather crowds. Three gripes ... The first being the most annoying - the WiFi was abysmal. Only worked on n off during our 3 days there, and when it was working, it was spotty and unreliable. I had to go out to my car to get a cell signal and get on a meeting with personal hot spot. The second, very minor, gripe is that the chairs on the room balcony were so terribly uncomfortable, that they were just about unusable for more than a few minutes. Third, the pool area was absolutely littered with old drink containers and trash every morning, obviously left over from guests from the night before - but that's more on the guests than the hotel staff. But that's all, overall very nice place.

Expensive. I may sound like a disgruntled customer, but I’ve paid for far cheaper hotel rooms that include at a minimum a continental breakfast. $400 and not even a cookie for breakfast or a banana is like a slap in the face. According to staff I have to choose that option. Plus $40 to park on site is ridiculous. I would’ve been better off just sleeping at a motel 6. Shame on you Hilton way to take your reputation.

Our stay at the Hilton Palm Springs was comfortable and well above what some recent negative reviews suggest. We had a spacious room with a king-size bed, and the bathroom was clean with a fairly new shower. The lobby stood out with updated, mid-century modern furnishings that gave the space a fresh, contemporary feel. Service was consistently strong throughout our visit. We enjoyed drinks at the lobby bar in the evening with attentive, friendly service. The next morning, brunch by the pool featured generous portions and equally great service. While some reviews describe extreme issues, that was not our experience at all. The property appears maintained and operational, with amenities functioning as expected. Like any hotel, minor imperfections may exist, but they did not impact our stay. Overall, this was a pleasant, reliable Hilton experience in a great location, and we would return without hesitation.

The staff service was outstanding. From the front desk, restaurant and pool. Spent the day by the pool and everyone working there was great. There were just enough umbrellas but could definitely need some more to shade the day beds. The staff has to take umbrellas from the pool area to accommodate the daybed rental. I saw one couple come back from swimming to find their umbrella gone.

I usually like Hiltons but this one was run down and dirty. Rooms smelt like cigarettes when you walked in was so gross my sons smelt like cat pee, pool was nice but not overly clean and the cabanas sit empty bc they are overcharged for, the umbrellas are falling apart and need an upgrade food was good around the pool drinks over priced like most hotels. Restaurant in the hotel is never open and no gift shop or anything for snacks you are close to walking so we left every night to spend our money elsewhere.

This is my third or fourth time staying in the Hilton for an annual conference, and it's time I left a review. Don't let the business-park aesthetic of the exterior fool you. This is a welcoming, service-first hotel and a good value for your money in Palm Springs. The staff is friendly, and the pool and pool bar are chill-- not a scene. I appreciated all the amenities in my room, especially the coffeemaker, and the daily room cleaning (and restock of the coffee bar--it's a necessity when you're attending a conference)! The location is also top-notch, within easy walking distance of both the convention center and the most central part of Palm Canyon Drive. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a low-key place in the middle of the action.
