Hampton Inn Mount Pleasant

Was near the casino ,good breakfast ,fitness room was great .

The windowsill has a dead fly and dust on it ,ceiling fan in the bathroom had dirt covering it ,bottom of the tub needed to be scrubbed had caked on dirt. The wall paper on the bathroom was peeling.

We stayed at this motel October 16. I chose Hampton Inn because they are normally known to be clean. We entered our room and my husband sat on the bed and noticed a tin can of nicotine pouches under the bedding. He immediately took it downstairs and they moved us to another room. The person on duty was kind and apologetic and did cut our bill in half. The next room had a stale musty odor, the sheets on the bed were so thin and yellow and turned inside out making me wonder if they had been turned over instead of being washed. The first towel I used had a big hole in the middle and what looked like black and gray paint stains. The other towels were old and grayish looking. The carpet is extremely dirty, our socks were brown after walking on them. The air conditioning unit vents had so much dirt in them. We were on a roadtrip and stayed in a different motel every night for 11 nights, some better than others but this was by far the worst we stayed in but I will say that the people on duty when we were there were very kind. There is a Holiday Inn across the street. I’d look into that.

Breakfast was nice, handy and plenty of seating in common area

The location and the staff were good. We had no problem finding the hotel. When we arrived, we were greeted and helped in a professional manner. Breakfast was OK nothing to scream about but it was good.

When we arrived the front desk clerk stated we were in a handicap room. I stated yes as my boyfriend cannot lift his feet over the tub ledge. I asked if it was a walk-in shower and he said yes. When we arrived in our room I started to unpack, and my boyfriend said it was not a walk-in shower. That was not a good thing. since I had already unpacked our bags, we decided not to move rooms. Then as we went to lay down to sleep, we kept seeing a flashing light coming from the ceiling. The smoke detector flashed on and off all night long. I would definitely stay at your hotel again because over all it was not too bad. The front desk staff should have definitely known if our room was a walk in or not.

We stayed 2 nights in Hampton inn. The water was deposited in bath tub, once requested staff, the staff were changed the room.

Pool was warm and clean. Great shower products.
