A Pet Friendly Hotel That Feels Like Home We welcome everyone at The Bostonian Hotel, including your four-legged family members. Our pet friendly hotel in heart of Boston welcomes your pets with additional accommodations including water bowls and toys, as well as proximity to the Green Way for walks and fresh air through the city. The Bostonian allows leashed dogs throughout the hotel public areas, with the exception of our restaurants and the Fitness Center. For guests who have allergies, The Bostonian also offers designated pet-free floors. We offer packages included doggy bags, treats, dog beds, water and food bowls. Pet Policy We ask that your pets occupy the same room, weigh less than 25 pounds and are not left in the room unsupervised. If your pet needs to be left in the room unsupervised it must be crated in case staff members need to enter the room in the event of an emergency. Upon arrival, guests will be charged a nonrefundable $75 pet fee. Additional cleaning fees may result if Housekeeping deems it necessary. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, fitness center, or meeting space. Failure to comply with the Hotel Pet Policy may result in being asked to leave without refund. Service animals are welcome at the hotel and throughout the conference areas regardless of breed. If your service animal requires special conditions, please speak with our Front Desk or call 617-523-3600 prior to your arrival. Note : The max number of pets allowed per room is 2 Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Great experience for a family stay , so central and the staff couldn't do enough for us especially Paula at reception. Will definitely be back and i highly recommend the Bostonian.

Location

Old hotel that needs a lot of repair and refurbishments. Broken lift, no water in lobby, have to pay for coffee and teas in lobby. Room seemed to not be fully cleaned when we checked in, no toilet paper, dust everywhere, broken toilet that would shake when you sat on it. Broken shower rail. Hot water took about 10 mins to work. Had to ask for spare pillows and toilet roll on 3 occasions before we received any. Beds were small and narrow. Breakfast came as a surprise and we were informed that our breakfast was included but we were then told that we had a $25 voucher to spend and everything was very expensive so we ended up having to spend money on the breakfast that we were told was included. They tried to charge us for coffee refills even when we asked for confirmation at the time that it was free of charge. Carpet in the hallways needs replacing, moths are laying their eggs on it and leaving worn away carpets. Overall a very expensive hotel with not much to it. Staff were not very friendly or accommodating. Will not be staying by again and would not recommend. I am also now still waiting on the security deposit to go back onto my card, another thing I was not informed on.

The hotel is conveniently located across Quincy Market, a minute from Subway, and close to restaurant areas in North End. The room is large.

It is a bit outdated. The bed is too soft.

The mini bar is broken in parts The phone in the room is not connected The TV is not connected to any channel The shower door does not close 1 of the 2 elevators is not working, there are always queues for the elevator and it stops at every floor The room was not cleaned until 16:30, we had to specifically ask and vacate the room until they finished. The staff is not kind and not nice.
