Hampton Inn Locust Grove

The employee working the front desk was friendly. The lobby area was OK. That ends the positive comments. The elevator, hallways, and room were filthy. The carpets were stained. There was food everywhere. The shower was disgusting. The bathroom floor looked at though it hadn't been mopped in ages. The breakfast bagels were stale. There were no washcloths. We could only have 1 key as they were rationing them. I am amazed that this hotel is actually a Hampton Inn. It was more in line with what I would imagine a $40 a night hotel would be. Very disappointed in Hampton Inn not evaluating the quality of this hotel. I would never stay there again and I certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone. Yes, I read the lukewarm reviews...but for 1 night I had no idea it could be that bad. It was terrible.

Everything was nice clean and the staff was nice sweet and very helpful

When i checked in the FDC asked if she could give me 1 key because they were short on key cards. When i got to my room the FDC had sent me a text advising me to text if i needed anything. I immediately found all of the towels and wash cloths stained and dirty. It was like they were not washed from the previous guests, just refolded. SO DISGUSTING. I sent the FDC a text, no reply. I called Guest Services, no answer. I gathered all of the items and put them into a bag and took them downstairs. I was told they were out of wash towels and the large ones to dry off. So, i was given more dirty stained small size wash cloths. People were sitting in the lobby but they didnt look like guests. I later realized that there are homeless people living behind the hotel. That was the view out my window. I bypassed the breakfast bar because it looked disgusting. This hotel should not be open or branded as a Hilton property. I will never go back there!

Easy to find. Convenient to food.

A/c fan ran all night. Even when I turned it off. We had 2 rooms booked 3 months in advance and were put on different floors.

Stay was great

The bed was comfortable. Large TV in our king room.

The whole lobby and elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. There were several parts of our room and bathroom that were broken, damaged, or moldy. The staff I interacted with were less than present. The main lobby bathroom was absolutely disgusting and I had already checked out of my room so we had to stop at a gas station before we could continue the roadtrip. Overall very disappointed with my stay and will not be staying here again.
