Hampton Inn Locust Grove

Location and , (staff Jalen I think was a great employee and showed us two rooms that ended up having mold/mildew problems and he was very nice to be patient and help us find a suitable room. the third one was fine yet after we occupied we found it had one pillow that was old and smelled sour …but of course we just used the others and that was not a major problem , breakfast very good , tasty , clean area

Mold and mildew and carpet dirty , toilets were low , wall paper dirty in halls, chair in room was nasty, some pillows were stinky but not the pillow case, furniture dirty, no laundry bags, the shower cleaning options in bottles were not nice, phone didn’t work so you had to text front desk

I was thoroughly disgusted!

Everything was great other than dampness and a musty smell coming from our air conditioner, which we needed to keep cool.

The staff was very very honest and assisted in finding a lost wallet. Thank you so much!! The entry door to the room was sticky and hard to close.

The facilities for pets were very accessible and easy to use. We appreciated that. The staff were very friendly. The location was very central. Loved how pet friendly they were.

The beds weren’t the most comfortable. You’re given the SMALLEST and flattest pillows ever. I think a tshirt would’ve given more support and comfort. The hotel and rooms in general need a lot of fixes and upgrades and repairs specifically the bathrooms. Things that matter when you are charging the prices they are charging. Hair/bath products were empty and we couldn’t use. Hair in bed on arrival and stain on bedding. Tv is very limiting. Have very few cable channels and that is it. Cannot access any kind of app. We requested a room on the ground floor. Even said to let us know ahead of time because we would have picked a different hotel if it couldn’t happen and it was approved and showed up and we were given a 3rd floor room. At that point we couldn’t cancel without losing money.

Luggage carrier damaged. Not clean and odor in halls and elevator.
