If you are traveling to San Juan Puerto Rico this hotel is a must. From the ambience as soon as you walk in to the island fresh scent of the lobby this hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in San Juan my opinion. All staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. The pool, swim up bar and facilities are fantastic. The cleanliness is always above par and the housekeepers are very friendly. Overall, if you are in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and need somewhere to stay the San Juan Marriott Stellaris is 10000000/10. Thank you to their entire team for being such a great example for what exceptional hospitality looks like.!!!!

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The service was truly top-tier — every single person made us feel welcomed, taken care of, and safe the entire time. The food was consistently delicious, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for — relaxing during the day and lively at night. The swim-up bar at Brisa was a highlight, and the live bands in the evening added the perfect vibe to unwind and enjoy. What really made this experience unforgettable was the staff. Cynthia at the Brisa pool bar was amazing, and Jeanette went above and beyond. A huge thank you as well to Maria and Michelle at Azure — their service and energy were incredible. The location couldn’t have been better — everything we needed was right there or just a short walk away. This trip was everything we wanted and more. We will absolutely be back!

Came here with extended family and both rooms were great. We had a city view and a partial ocean view. Both rooms were very clean with no moldy smell! Pool area was our favorite with the swim up bar and slide. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops in walking distance. We will return.

The photos on the website didn’t match the real property; it was way too busy with kids and loud guests late at night and in the pool areas; the restaurants available in the property were not good, except for Terazo.

As a travel agent, I’ve been to a lot of properties in Puerto Rico, but I keep coming back to San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. It’s easily one of my favorites, especially for families. First off, you really can’t beat the location. You are right on the beach, no shuttles, no long walks. Chairs and umbrellas are set up, and it just makes everything feel easy. Exactly what you want on vacation. The pool setup is a huge win, especially with kids. There are two big pools: One is only about 2.5 feet deep, which was amazing for my kid who isn’t a strong swimmer. Total peace of mind, and they basically lived in that pool the entire trip. The second pool has a swim-up bar and a water slide, and the kids were obsessed with the slide. The rooms are super comfortable, and if you get a balcony, the views are beautiful, perfect for morning coffee or just winding down at night. Food-wise, it’s what you’d expect from a Marriott. A little pricey, but solid: There’s actually really good sushi in the lobby, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast buffet is big and has a ton of options, but it’s around $45 per adult (kids are less). If you have status with Marriott Bonvoy, you might get that included. There’s also a little bakery/coffee spot in the lobby, convenient, but also not cheap. One thing I really loved is how much they do for kids. There are activities going on all day, popcorn, snow cones, relay races, sandcastle building, even clay molding. Plus free bike rentals, and tennis/pickleball courts if you want to stay active. The location is also perfect. You walk outside and there are tons of restaurants, breakfast spots, and even a Walgreens right there if you need anything. And getting to Old San Juan is super easy, about a 10–15 minute Uber. Bottom line: it’s just an easy, fun, no-stress resort that works really well for families but is still great for adults too. I recommend it all the time, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Water slide casino

The rooms were comfortable and a good size. The staff were all great and very helpful. The pool was nice but they didn’t really play music which I think would’ve been nice. The beach is beautiful but not great for swimming because it can be dangerous. There were plenty of places to sit and hang out with beautiful views. We had an ocean view room with a balcony which was great too. There were a couple chairs out there to look at the view. The casino is decent but not huge - plenty of slots, live roulette, blackjack, and a few other games. Lots of fun drinks that were around $14-18. Some of the restaurants around the pool didn’t take cash, just card or room charge.

Service could be a little slower at times in the restaurants but you’re on vacation so it’s usually fine. I got a rate where the breakfast was included with the stay but I probably wouldn’t have paid the full price for the breakfast buffet. It was great but not quite $40 great. The hotel is expensive but very nice.
