The beauty of this place is definitely worth the price.

Very late check in times and the room I booked wasn’t as pictures described. however check out time allows for us to stay on property so long as we leave our luggage with bell boy.

How clean it always is and the staff always so attentive and friendly and respectful. We have been to Puerto Rico plenty of times and The Marriott Stellaris is always a return for my family and myself.

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico for a week. The lobby of this particular hotel looked as though it had been renovated. It looks very clean, elegant. It was a bit different when we reached our room.we had to switch rooms twice due to the musty odor in the room. There were large fans running in the hallway. Not sure if there was a flood of some sort, but the odor was awful. We were switched to a second room that had an odor from some sort of adhesive. Not sure if they had recently replaced the rugs outside of the room, but the odor was awful. My husband has respiratory issues so we requested to be moved a second time since it was affecting his breathing. The third room was acceptable, but not totally up to Marriott standards. The hotel rates are not cheap and the website stated that it had recently gone through renovations. I expected a spotless room, but the room did not live up to my expectations. The room seemed outdated, the bathroom needed updating and the vents in the room were full of dust. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant in the hotel was good. The beach was pleasant, but each day that we visited the beach we were told there were not enough beach chairs since most of them were broken. Can Marriott not afford to replace broke chairs? I would think they can given the rates they charge their guests. The gym seemed like an after thought…located in the lower level of the hotel. It was small,cramped and didn’t have much circulating air. Lobby level would have been better.i was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel under the current conditions. Hopefully, Marriott will take a serious look at this issues and address them!
