The room was spacious and elegant. The check-in staff were excellent.

The Cafe Ilang Ilang was a big disappointment. The food quality, selection and presentation were worse than before. The restaurant staff wandered aimlessly and seemed unsure of how to serve customers. Considering the premium price it charges, the experience is third rate and ordinary. Not worth recommending or returning to.

I visited a friend last night. He fetched me at the lobby. When I left him at around 1130 pm, a security personnel wearing blue near the elevator and piano approached me. He asked what room number I went and told me that visitors beyond curfew time should come to the front desk and ask for a call clearance coming from the occupant of the room. I feel awkard walking with a security personnel going to the front desk just for a call clearance! I book rooms before at the Manila Hotel and I had bought before their Prestige Card, I am a loyal customer of them but because of these new security measures they are implementing, I'd rather choose other hotels where you will NOT FEEL THE AWKWARDNESS going to the front desk with a security personnel wearing in blue just to ask the occupant of the room to clear me out of the hotel premises. May my experience last night regarding the security measures of Manila Hotel may not happen anymore to those visitors of the room occupants.

No drinking water in room Towels a bit old Bit dated Tap bar fab with an amazing singer (on a Wed night) and great food. Not that easy to find and they also don’t advertise the happy hour (mon-fri think it’s 7-8pm ???) Jade Chinese Restaurant - lovely food. Won Tun soup best ever had. Breakfast buffet amazing. Excellent choices Bed very comfy Shower great Staff lovely. Beautiful uniforms

The Mac Arthur suite had a lot of space to walk around. There was well-appointed decoration everywhere. The best part about the experience was the staff. A special shout out to Jim, Anthony, and Raphael. They checked on us every now and were quite flexible of our requests. They helped us with the need for paper bags and trolleys. If there was one thing to improve, it could be the offer of channels, particularly international news channels like CNN and NBA TV. Likewise one of the toilet seat covers were not retracting automatically despite notice that suggests otherwise. It was no big deal nonetheless. Overall, this was great value for money!
