The Ritz-Carlton, Denver

After an unexpected rate increase at the Four Seasons—an additional $200 per night just to switch from a king bed to two queens—I decided to move to The Ritz-Carlton, and it turned out to be the best choice. Not only did I receive superior luxury at the same rate, but the service was also impeccable. The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming, making the transition seamless. From the elegantly appointed rooms to the thoughtful amenities, The Ritz-Carlton delivered an elevated experience in every way. Spacious accommodations, refined hospitality, and a dedication to guest comfort set it apart, proving that true luxury isn't just about price—it's about how you're treated.

Service was excellent. Front desk and maids were friendly. We stayed in a suite and it wasn't that nice for the price. It was a glorified Marriott. Relatively clean. We did have some noise above us (we were on the 2nd floor). Not sure if there was a housekeeping room on the floor above but we heard a lot of dragging of things and banging around long after 10pm. We ate at Elway's on the first night and it was ok. My salmon was undercooked and again way overpriced. I wouldn't eat there again.

The services were available but were not actively proffered. The spa was utterly fantastic! the hotel food was lackluster and focused on steak over anything else. They had other types of food, obviously, but steak was in plentiful abundance over anything. The housekeeping staff was amazing and on top of their game. the room quality was very good and spacious; larger than most hotels' suites. The in-room bar and mini-fridge were not free despite being labeled an "honor bar." I'm not cheap. I have no issue paying. My issue is the deceptive marketing of the honor bar. the room's furniture was not cheap, but it did appear tacky with the illusion of being of quality. The view was impressive, though. Overall, I'd pick a different hotel. Score: 3.5/5.0

The staff especially the wait staff at breakfast and the spa- top notch!!! Comfortable room, well appointed. Everything you would expect from a Ritz. 5 star all the way.

The lighting in the bathrooms was harsh.

The Ritz-Carlton Denver gets a solid 5/5, mainly thanks to the outstanding service. Ashley Thorn, Adam and Blanca were absolutely phenomenal. The rooms are spacious and elegant (some might find it a bit outdated but I liked the style for within the hotel), the location is ideal and the breakfast service was top-notch. The spa is luxurious, with great amenities and complimentary drinks that add a nice touch. The only downside was the dinner experience, which didn’t match the high standard set during the rest of our stay — I’d personally avoid it. Still, the overall experience was excellent and i’d gladly return.

For it to be a Ritz Carlton it was poor even lost water one complete day had to go out to shower

The room was large, quiet, and very comfortable. We appreciated having two tv areas and I loved the big closet--it's always nice when you can put your suitcases out of sight. There were a few signs of wear, but that is normal and didn't affect our stay in the least. Staff was pleasant and we had breakfast and nightcaps at Elways a few times.

Clean

Booked 2 nights with a gift certificate (that we paid a lot of money for in a charity auction). Bumped from our room on the day of the reservation due to overbooking and given a poor alternative (just ONE night at the Sheraton) and told that we could try to use the gift certificate another time later this year. We don't have that kind of flexibility (especially with small children) so basically we paid for 2 nights at the Ritz and got one night at the Sheraton. What a joke.
