Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport - NEC by IHG

We stayed overnight,for an early flight out. Room 467 gorgeous room, comfortable massive bed. The only issue was the road noise, it's a very busy road. The hotel is very good though, and would use again, transfer to the monorail, very easy.

The Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. ​The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. ​However, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.

A amazing experience with Food and beverage department specially Samjhana and Smriti both are very proactive treated me very kindly and assisted me with each and every need really happy to be here and expireces a great hospitality by both of them

We booked three family rooms and stayed overnight and the hotel was excellent. The swimming pool and gym were keeep very clean and the breakfast was lovely.

We had exceptional service from two members of staff during our stay. The shuttle bus driver Imran was particularly helpful and very friendly. We also found Megan on reception very kind and happy to help with all of our enquiries, going above and beyond, even organising a very early takeaway breakfast for our 4 am start. Thank you.

Fabulous! Very friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely swimming pool. Very handy free shuttle bus to the NEC. A great mini break!

I have been extremely impressed with the hospitality and service from the hotel especially from padma, Smriti, jenisha and Karina. All wonderful staff always smiling and serving with a lot of love. They were very attentive and were great giving us ideas on what to eat for lunch and recommended for dinner when they weren't working . So I am very happy with the service and I look forward visiting again soon and all because of the above named lovely staff

Lovely helpful staff, nice warm pool, kids eat free and great breakfast with lots of choice. Free shuttle bus service very handy for NEC and train station which is 2 miles away. Public bus also stops outside hotel. Rooms comfortable and clean. Only negatives were bedroom window was difficult to open and close, some mould on sealant around bath and changing room PIN code lockers were not always easy to open. Staff also forgot to make up the sofa bed but the situation was quickly rectified. Can hear traffic from room but as to be expected for its location and not a big issue.

Staying here regularly for work, and I’m always impressed by how friendly and helpful the team is. The rooms are consistently clean and well presented, and the food is excellent. It really makes being away from home feel a bit more like home. Any time I've had any queries or questions Mo has always been there to answer!
