Kings Inn San Diego

My stay at Kings Inn San Diego was very quiet and having the Waffle Spot attached to the hotel was a pleasant surprise for a delicious breakfast

From check-in to check-out, I received excellent service. The room fit my needs quite well. Fridge in room allows me to keep healthy snacks & a microwave is available in the laundry room or in-room @ just $5/day. Beautiful pool & jacuzzi to relax & meet folks from all over.

When traveling to San Diego for work or fun for the last 3 years, I stay at the Kings Inn. It’s safe, clean, and comfortable. The staff is amazing, respectful, and helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience in all of my visits and there have been a lot of visits. As a female who travels alone often, the fact that there is an on-site security guard gives me a lot of comfort. One of the bonuses, is the fact that it is so close to all of the important freeways to get you where you need to be. With that said, you don’t have all the freeway noise when you’re in your room! Which is wonderful! It’s not Over the top fancy like so many of the chain hotels. I like the amount of privacy and the feeling of family when you get there. The on-site restaurants are excellent! They are definitely not overpriced either. Most hotel restaurants are. The entire vibe of the hotel is fun retro. From the pool area to the rooms themselves with fun throwback refrigerators that make you feel like you’re in a hotel room in 1960. Basically, I can say nothing negative about the place..

Cozy room, lots of nearby things to do. Mostly stayed to sleep. Water pressure in shower was not the greatest. The left side of my bed was all blown out.

Great location, close to so many cool spots! Was pretty affordable when compared to some of the other hotels we had considered. One of the cleaner rooms/hotels my partner and I have stayed in. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back :)

Great location! I loved everything about this hotel very 50s, 60s vibe. It definitely met my expectations on cleanliness. Rooms and pool very clean.. I love that it's a smoke-free property. Very family friendly. Employees were super nice and professional. I've been wanting to try The Waffle Spot for years. It was so good! I will definitely be coming back.

This is a charming and clean retro looking hotel. The staff was helpful, the beds comfortable. the only complaint I would have is the lack of a coffee ba?? seemed like such an easy thing to provide for guests. Yes there is a small one cup coffee maker in the room . But then I LOVE a good cup of coffee in the morning

Perfectly located within quick driving distance of many family attractions. Clean rooms, friendly service. Amazing pool!

Clean, Quiet and Friendly! Didn’t get a chance to try the Waffle Spot, but would definitely stay there again.
