Mission Point Resort

For what we paid for the room, disappointed in the AC standing unit. It was sleeping next to a Mac truck engine. We got no sleep. Sad that for what you pay, carriage rides into town as you come off the ferry or into town are not included for guests. Pool was nice but chilly. Hot tubs were super tiny and couldn’t stretch your legs. Staff was friendly.

This hotel is very expensive for what it was. We booked a family suite 2380 which has a king bed and the other room had two twins for the kids which was our main draw to the hotel. However it is located in the straights lodge which is at the far end of the hotel and has a AC box in the window. This would have been fine but with an old hotel, the AC box does not have a tight seal and every night we found seriously an army of bugs parading on our ceiling, some of them mosquitoes. Plus the AC box draws air from anything which is outside which in our case was smokers below us (not sure if this was workers or other hotel guests) and was simply uncomfortable at night when awakened by the smell of cigarette smoke inundating our room. While the staff is friendly they do not answer the phones very well. While luggage is taken to the room when you get there is no direct way to contact the bellman to help you take your bags back to the main lobby to have your bags taken in ferry. So good luck with that in trying to schelp your stuff back on the cobblestone walkway.

The property is so beautiful it looks unreal. Like a movie.it’s clean, gorgeous, and so much fun to explore. The staff was professional, kind, patient, caring, helpful and provided just plan superior service. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone contemplating a stay. Thank you to Judy, Thomas, Michael and the wait staff at the breakfast spot for providing such amazing customer service. My entire family enjoyed their stay.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only area for improvement was the food. The food from the restaurant on the premises was served dried out and was difficult to chew, and the baristas at the cafe struggled to make a simple cup of coffee.

Property is in a great location and beautifully landscaped. It’s quiet, has air conditioning and rooms are standard size. Golf course on property is beautiful and the restaurant at the course area has very good food. Very relaxing atmosphere and comfortable beds.We rented bikes at the hotel and found them in better shape and more reasonable than elsewhere. There are live plays and operas in Arts building on site. Pool is nice but needs some updating and calls out for a small pool bar. Loungers are really comfortable and towels are available. They could use a pool lifeguard/ monitor as the kids got out of hand a several occasions. No separate adult pool. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again. Staff is exceptionally nice and the location is peaceful.

My family of 5 had a great experience staying at Mission Point Hotel. The view from the hotel is amazing.

Better prices than the other hotels, even smaller places on the island. More entertainment options, better food at restaurants.... Just come here!

The room was on the 3rd floor. It was over 80 degrees and extremely humid. No central air, so each room has a unit that has a hose leading to the wall. That hose was disconnected more than it was connected cause hot air to come from the bottom of the unit. Room barely was tolerable. Halls were not tolerable and the elevator was an oven. For the price, I expected better.
