Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs

The breakfast was good. That is the only thing we liked.

This was by far the worst Hilton we have ever stayed in. It was absolutely filthy, dingy and run down. We arrived and i noticed immediately going in, the outside planters were filled with dead plants from previous years. The windows everywhere from the lobby to the elevators and the room were absolutely filthy and dirty. The room had pictures off the walls, lamps that didn’t work and the phone to the front desk didn’t even work. We stayed 3 nights and not once was the lobby vacuumed or the hallway carpets vacuumed. The carpets were wavy from being loose and deteriorating . I know who ever manages this property needs fired. Hilton should be embarrassed and ashamed of having their name on this property!!

Clean and modern. I felt safe and free parking.

Fire alarm at 12:30 a.m. Christmas morning. Then having evacuate our room for an hour. One of the guest pulled the alarm because someone called and told him to. The firemen were not very happy with him. It wasn't a call form Amy of the hotel employees.

It was clean and quiet

The lobby was cold and they did not refill breakfast items, with over 30 minutes left in breakfast time, they did not refill items used for omelets/hashbrowns/cereal or coffee creamer

No heat in the lobby. Very cold.

The beds are comfy

They charged me three times and said they couldn’t do nothing about it to fight it out with my bank!

Extensive improvements are underway here. And, we still had a really nice stay. A few of the elevators are out for upgrades, but there are elevators scattered throughout, so no worries. All the service people are wonderful. Kudos / Thank yous to Charlie, Ron and Monique in the Breakfast area. We were here on Thanksgiving, and the place was mobbed with people. All three of these folk hustled and got the job done! I did not see Charlie stop for one moment! He was always prepping dishes for the dishwasher, replenishing the pastries and oatmeal, cleaning tables, doing everything to keep the room running! Wow! We chose room 443 in the 4th floor corner - 2 room suite. This room is tucked away a bit, down a short corridor, away from the atrium. We've had bad experiences in the past, with echo-chamber atrium layouts. This hotel is VERY quiet on the atrium, so we did not have to worry. Super clean room. The room layout is a touch unusual. The West view is Pikes Peak and the Front Range! WOW! Wonderful!
