Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs

The breakfast was fabulous! Definitely the bright spot of our stay.

The room location was terrible! It was above the hotel bar and VERY noisy! My husband and I are both disabled and walking a long distance is difficult for us. Our room was on the opposite end of everything! We did not have the supplies we needed. I don’t mind using a towel more than once, but like a clean washcloth each time I do my face. Coffee, cream, etc. was not restocked. Only had maid service twice in the week we were there. There was not a price break for booking a week long stay. I was told that they couldn’t do anything about that since I did not book directly from them. I tried booking direct from the hotel and was told they didn’t have a weekly rate and they refused to help. I even tried calling their corporate headquarters and they refused to help.

Excellent service from Alena and Kyle! They made sure I received an early check-in with a wonderful suite! Also, breakfast was awesome!!

Elevator was a bit picky on when it would close the door and when it would raise or lower -- multiple pushes of the button to get it's attention!!

The hotel itself was nice... and a good northside location. Easy access to get to sites, shopping, restaurants. Overall a 4 out of 5 stars. What would have given them a 5 was for their staff not to be so rude/have so much attitude. Desk staff had a take it or leave it attitude, like they were doing you a favor just to recognize you were trying to talk to them. Bar staff would not engage in conversation with the guests. With each other, yes, but not us. Still, if you are not actually spending a lot of time interacting with the staff, it's a pretty good stay/location. Would stay here again.

It's a tired location with many shared areas needing renovation. Staff made up for this in kindness and attention to detail. Rooms were cleaned very well.

For a hotel that charges over $250 a night it was not good. This hotel from what I understand is going thru renovation. It's going on three years now. Other than painting the building last year the renovation is extremely slow. This year two of the four elevators are not working. The only thing about this hotel I can rave about is the breakfast and the happy hour. Next year when I'm in Colorado Springs I might be looking for a better place to stay

Easy check-in with knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms with office area as expected. The only issue was that several of the elevators were out of service. Fourth-floor walkup, or 10 minute wait for elevator (tour group staying too.)

Unfortunately, our stay at the Embassy Suites in Colorado Springs was far less than ideal. There were several issues with the facilities and the service, some of which major. 1.The AC/heating did not work properly. When we arrived the temperature was 59 degrees. We set the control to 75 degrees, and the temperature went up to 60 degrees where it stayed all night. It was really cold, my wife and three little kids were suffering. Next day we asked the front office to send someone to have a look. They said they will but no one came. 2.The telephones in the room did not work. Both telephones in the room did not work. In order to contact the front office we had to call from our cell phones. 3.The room keys were deactivated every evening. 4.The breakfast on first morning had only a few items. The custom omelets were served as usual, but the main food island was mostly empty at 9:15 am, 45 minutes before the end of the breakfast on Saturdays, 10 am. No potatoes, no sausages, no pancakes, very little scrambled eggs. 5.The toilet flushing mechanism in lobby restrooms did not work. I tried to use the lobby and/or the restaurant restrooms, only to find out that the toilet flushing mechanism could not be manually activated. The automatic part was too erratic itself as well. 6.There was no freezer in the fridge in the room. 7.Shower water was coming out of the shower, even with the shower curtains closed, resulting in flooding of the floor every time.

Everything was great ALL staff that we encountered were so kind and helpful! Our stay was amazing. Only thing is water in tub went down too slow but that is my only small issue. No problem. Would definitely return!
