"A hard pass for me"

Location

I did not like that the toilet and shower curtain was tan. I think in a inn/hotel/motel that they should be white. Now it may have been cleaned properly, but I still think they should be white. The breakfast was not good. Nothing against the ladies that work that area because I think it was microwaved food, but it was not good. My kids play in a golf tournament when we travel like this and breakfast included is a deal breaker because we have to get up early as it is. Tell everyone we appreciate the service and everyone was so nice.

"It was fine."

It was clean enough and the morning staff was friendly.

The shower curtain was so sour smelling that it stunk up the whole bathroom and the AC unit was so old it wouldn’t run strong enough.

"Overall I was very satisfied with everything. Except the stairs."

I aske for a late check out for 12 noon and was granted my request with no additional charge. No one came to my door hurrying me to leave. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again while visiting Opelika.

The stairs. Having to go up and down became tiring.
