"Xmas holiday"

Hotel was easy to get to with ample parking check in was good ask for extra card for doors and room which they supplied staff was friendly and polite and helpful nice place to stay breakfast was fine

Penny Hedge is on the outskirts of Whitby. There is plenty of parking. Nearby is a small shopping complex. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The pub provides a good range of tasty, good value meals, served by friendly staff.

Placed on the outskirts of Whitby makes it a very quiet place to stay and the staff are very helpful but the outside of the buildings could do with a good clean up and a waste bin installed to stop litter.

Abrupt reception on arrival, but other staff were friendly. No EV charging. No hot water for the bath. Breakfast was average but morning staff were friendly.
