Shady Lady Bed and Breakfast

Nice, quiet B@B with nice spacious room. We stayed in the Paridise room and it was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay! The owners waited up for us to arrive and were very kind and welcoming. The Victorian room was cozy and the whole property was clean and that's with roaming peacocks, a goat, a couple dogs, and a cat. Breakfast was good too! They have a pool but it was a little too chilly out for us. It is in the middle of nowhere so if you're low on gas get it at Beatty on your way over from Death Valley. I got a warm hug goodbye too. Shady Lady, we hope to meet up again some day.

Jennifer was incredibly sweet on the phone. Booked the Asian room but got upgraded to the cabin. It was very cozy, clean, and there were no complaints. Beware...there is an army of peacocks (this is not a joke). The fire alarm went off while showering because of the steam and there were no bowls. This in no way made the stay any less pleasant.

The room was decorated with Japanese decor so it was interesting. The bed was a little soft and the room got too hot overnight but other than that it was a neat place to stay. The owner and her husband were great and the breakfast was also great. It is about 25 minutes from Beatty, which I did not realize when I booked it.

What a unique place.. the hosts were great and informative. Looks like a dive from the road but the cabins were clean and each uniquely decorated. Great view of sky..we would definitely stay there again. Had fun. Made up for Scottys Castle being closed.

Great hosts good room and lovely pets. Also all the CB peacocks around the B&B. Breakfast was great.

This is an incredibly unique spot. If you are looking for a secluded, out of the way experience, this is it. Jennifer is a magnificent host and breakfast was perfect!!

The owners were friendly, they hosted a wine and beer social with them and other guests, the rooms were unique, and breakfast was delicious. The experience was so much fun, and we loved it!

The owners were an absolute delight! We had marvelous conversation. Also, when it turned out that we were going to have to leave early, they were extremely accommodating and made sure we had a hot breakfast with going out the door. The bathtub was extremely fun! We will definitely be going back.

As with any historic property, maintenance is a constant issue. We found a few loose tiles in the bathroom, but nothing we couldn't handle.

This was a unique property. The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was good. The room and bath were in need of an update but, they were serviceable. The location was north of Beatty but, an easy drive to Beatty and Death Valley.
