Really good, full breakfast, great location. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms, suites really, are spacious, quiet, private and comfortable. And if you want to get out in the fresh air, there are lots of comfortable seating areas in the courtyards.

This was my second trip in 3 years. Victoria Ryan is the consumate host and her staff is gracious, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the dining room and is crazy good. Our room (Angel) was spacious, comfortable and clean. Location can't be beat. We had a wonderfully relaxing time as Victoria's guests.

I had a heavenly time at la casa encantada! The patios and gardens surrounding the rooms are filled with plants and intriguing pieces of art, creating an atmosphere both relaxing and inspiring. My room was extremely comfortable and quiet, and the price—which included delicious breakfasts—was entirely reasonable. The location, just off the main plaza, was perfect: well lighted and with good sidewalks.

Victoria runs a lovely and welcoming hotel, so close to Centro that we could easily walk to all the charming shops, restaurants and parks we wanted to visit. The hotel is filled with history and local color. The stay included a delicious breakfast and we found the other guests very interesting as well. Five stars!

I'm so glad my Mexican cousins knew about this wonderful hotel. Serene, quiet and elegant, it has the most beautiful architecture and gardens. Everything about it was clean and comfortable and invited me to relax. I was very impressed that they were able to serve the breakfast simultaneously to everyone, even though we all ordered different things. The bed and lighting and temperature of the room was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and functional. I also appreciate that the owners and staff are ecologically conscious. As a person visiting from the USA, this place was perfect. Victoria was able to tell me anything I needed to know.

Hotel Casa Encantada is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at for so many reasons. The sleeping rooms are spacious with good sized closets and are immaculate and cleaned daily with new fresh towels. The communal spaces arebeautifully designed with good art and and interesting regional objects on display. The beautiful kitchen is a designers delight, open to all, and the staff that prepares the breakfasts came up with new and different juices and egg preparations daily. The front office staff eagerly arranges tours and transportation at reasonable prices without markup, The on site owner and host, Victoria, is one of the most gracious people I have ever met in addition to being one of the more interesting woman I encountered on the trip. She has created a unique environment which draws repeat visitors. I had a fabulous stay.

Truly enchanting from the minute you enter off the street into an art filled and brightly planted peaceful garden courtyards ...with rooms opening directly onto courtyards. All signs in English and Spanish and superhelpful staff . Lovely breakfasts flexible timing. 150mtrs from Central square Highly recommend Casa Del Naranjo ( 100mtrs away) Restaurant. Beautiful peaceful internal courtyard, delicous food generous portions great value, for quality, location and surrounds.

We loved everything about this lovely B&B. Location ambience staff comfort . Couldnt have found anywehere nicer in Patzcuaro and so close to the Central Square. Breakfasts were generous and delicious.
