Lovely little hotel. We saw more wildlife at the reserve nextdoor than nearly anywhere on a trip. There was a sloth and baby that could be seen from the dining room all three days we were there. The staff was wonderful, especially Juan, Aaron, and Rachel.

This was the best service I’ve ever had at a hotel! Their attention to detail with our names, and the small gestures to make my kids feel special were amazing! Aaron was so great to take care of us everyday we were there. The room was beautiful and the food was excellent! We would definitely come back to this hotel!
Small, friendly beautiful hotel. Restaurant is gorgeous with spectacular views across to the pacific. Staff were excellent. Very well run. Manager, Marco has excellent recommendations of activities and tailored to us. We were in cabin that felt like we were hanging from the trees. Such a special place.
The attention of the staff was second to none. Besides being helpful they were so friendly. They made us feel special! Remembering our names was the icing on the cake! My father and I spent three nights at the Koora, on our dream vacation. It was truly amazing! The service was first class. Kenneth was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. He booked us an excursion on very short notice, packed us a breakfast-to-go before we headed out in the morning, and gave us a lot of good advice. The food in their restaurant was as good as you will find anywhere. We watched the monkeys swing through the trees just off the restaurant balcony. They even have a "private" preserve attached to the hotel where we took a beautiful evening hike. Very clean, very friendly, very beautiful place. I hope to see them again soon.
It is a literal contruction zone. They like to me about this before arrival and then we were stuck paying for a night there since we got in too late to stay anywhere else. $415 a night to be surrounded by a 7am construction crew building facilities all around us!
A really beautiful hotel with the best staff I’ve ever experienced. Very thoughtful and attentive and knew my whole family’s name instantly. The restaurant at the hotel is incredible, the food and drinks were 5 star and the view from the restaurant was so beautiful. We saw coatis in the morning, a sloth in the tree outside the lobby and howler moneys in the beautiful trail behind the hotel. It was truly a memorable experience and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
